I understand that. But at least one of the usernames seems far too suspicious to not be a reg posting under a fake username that they created (for whatever reason). They created a username in the recent past yet knows about things that happened much farther back. Why not just say your piece under your regular username? If we're all adults and all stand by what we say, why post under fake names? We all get that not everyone will get along and like everyone else on this site. No one is that delusional. I just don't understand using fake names to rile up the masses.
I think you might be reading into things. I honestly don't think there are reg's posting under AEs in this thread.
Fair enough. I just get a little conspiracy theory sometimes, particularly in instances such as this on forums.
Everyone here over 5' tall that is complaining about being short should come live in my world for few minutes! There are quite a few 10 year-olds who are taller than I am. lol
I'm 5'...and a half! That's how I know I'm short, I count half of an inch.
Not only do I know children taller then me (my 7 y/o FSIL is catching up to me already), I can actually wear clothes out of the kid's section. And I totally do.
I'm jealous of all ya'll who can wear those giant shoes. I'm 5'9" (ish? maybe 5'10" if I stand up straight?) so I would be a BEAST in those things. Thankfully FI is 6'4" so I can still wear 4" heels for the wedding without looking weird (at least to me), but that's as far as I'll push it.
Rock it, girls! I'm 5'11" and still love me a good heel.
Tall girls should not be allowed to be even taller via heels!
Sorry, not sorry, you damn lucky tall ppl!

Then you've got me beat by over 2", lady. I frequently don't hit the "You must be this tall" signs at amusement parks! haha
I feel like I can just sit back and love everything @Maggie0829 posts because all of her words are in my brain.
With regards to the AE/old regs under a new name discussion, who gives a shit? Some people choose to have their account deleted for whatever reason and then they create a new one. I'm pretty sure that's not against the TOS. Perhaps @phira could let us know for sure though?
There are some users posting in this thread that were created in May and have had NO comments outside of this thread. That just seems a little fishy, no?
I actually really like these but I don't want to try carrying around a baby in them.
Yeah, you have to be careful with your balance on those. They change your whole center of gravity, so you have to be super aware of that.
ETA: by 'those' I mean the shoes. I don't know if a baby changes your center of gravity. I've never had one lol
A woman's center of gravity is in her pelvis, so it should remain in her pelvis whether she was born 6'8" or whether she is wearing high ass shoes. . . right?
I think the balance issue for ppl who are new to high heels is just that they aren't used to having their center of gravity-their pelvis- be higher off the ground.
You are right, I don't know how else to explain it lol

You're the same height as my grandmother! When I'd complain about being short she say "You could be shorter", with this menacing look like maybe she'd put a curse on me and make me shrink.
Thanks a lot. I've got two songs in my head down. Plus the damn chip on your shoulder song (was that this thread or another one? I can't remember now). So three.
@beethery I knew we were kindred spirits. I was one too. I kinda sucked at it though. But I know there's at least a couple others, which is why I lol whenever the subject of "ew strippers are gross" comes up.
I'm not saying HGF is perfect or anything. Heck, I don't always agree with her. I just was a little irritated that a bunch of people jumped on the "let's point out everything we don't like about HGF" on her thread. I know I don't sit and wait to pounce on posters on their threads about silly things. I generally air my differences on the specific thread in question or let it go, because nothing is that damn important.

No, it's not against TOS but I just don't feel that it's the most adult thing to do. Maggie referenced being adults in this situation and I think hiding behind an obviously fake username isn't very adult. I will take people a lot more seriously if they own up to who they are, can voice their opinion and stand by it than people who intentionally stir the pot and hide. It's fine if you asked to have your account deleted and came back but I don't think I'm far off in saying that at least one of the newbie posters is someone who is a reg here, or at least used to be and still lurks and has decided to use an AE to participate in today's discussion. That's juvenile. Well within their right to do so, but it's childish. About as childish as @crossmyheartxoxo and her BS.

Sure, but it's just funny that people are then saying "What? Whatever do you mean people are posting under an unknown username?" like it's not obvious that whoever it is posting under the unknown username has inside knowledge of previous goings on here. I don't have a dog in this fight at all as I'm not HGF's (or anyone's) minion, but I really don't see the point of hiding behind an alternate moniker. I think people should stand behind their words, particularly when they have an issue with someone and are speaking out about it. Unless some of the unknown folks are actually previously banned regs who are able to post via a different IP. Then I guess it makes perfect sense.
@beethery I knew we were kindred spirits. I was one too. I kinda sucked at it though. But I know there's at least a couple others, which is why I lol whenever the subject of "ew strippers are gross" comes up.
I can't be added to the stripper list, but I did do some work in adult films for awhile. That was when I learned to walk in ridiculous heels.
I actually really like these but I don't want to try carrying around a baby in them.

Pregnancy definitely changes your center of gravity and I'm don't know if carrying the the 20 pound carseat does, but it sure feels like it.
I would imagine pregnancy changes your center of gravity bc you now have like 20 extra pounds right in the center of your gravity, lol!
At 5'4" and not pregnant, my center of gravity should still be the same when I put on a pair of 5" platforms heels and still remain not pregnant. . . my COG should still be my pelvis, but my pelvis is just 5 extra inches off of the ground now.
My COG and the COG of the lucky-ass PP who stated in this thread that she is like 5'10" or something should be in the same place, our pelvis.
This seems like physics thing and I feel like I should check with FI. . . he loves when I text him random chemistry and physics questions during the day!

Well there might not be CURRENT regs posting here....
So you either got banned or quit last summer, and came back, and mostly just hate me?
I'm kind of flattered.
You're directing this to the wrong person. I did not write bad things in this thread about you. Unless you think "hate" is evidenced by me (and many others) asking why a person would cry TOS violation?
Also, I'm not entirely certain why coming back to post randomly has anything to do with you and would result in you being flattered.
I figure that I'm being called out because I posted the TOS earlier, since anyone who's actually curious can google the TOS themselves. It's not explicitly against TOS to create a new username and not be upfront about your original TK username. And honestly, I don't think that should be against TOS. On its own, it's entirely benign.
Sorry for not constantly posting in this thread as a member of the HGF army (apparently). Was busy being home sick and puking, will try to do better some other time.

@PrettyGirlLost I have seen/heard about/experienced things that would make Jenna Jameson nod in agreement, and make Joan Rivers blush. I miss my work friends, and the money, but not the customers.
@FiancB YES!!!!! I have many chuckles about strippers being gross. There are gross people everywhere. I am not, nor have I ever been one of them. Someone described strippers as being 'trash ladies' in front of me once, and the only image I could conjure up was of Marjory the Trash Heap from Fraggle Rock. I was laughing to begin with, but that image just sent me over the edge.

Hello fellow shorties. I'm only 5'... I would love to have the half. : (
cupcait927 why dont you just back off of me. you are obviusly the childish one
How am I being childish? I gave you a very mature response way back before this thread went WAY off the tracks and you decided to keep up with your snark. I've grown tired of it and called you out. I did not call you a name, I did not post a GIF mocking you or your post, I just said that you're being a child.
