Yeah this is what I'm trying to say, but better--as usual ;) it's kind of like everyone says they're sick of it, and I believe it, but then some people still take a dig when they get the chance. And I guess I just wish they'd come right out and say it, and no, unfortunately I don't have an example off the top of my head, which likely invalidates my post completely, but oh well.

I guess I just haven't seen where it's been discussed besides that one monster thread. I don't have the elephant in the room feeling, but I also don't read every single thread on the board, so it's entirely possible that I've missed a lot. FTR, I don't give a hoot where the conversation ends up in AYG or FFF or whatever. Cranberry brought up the vow renewal thread, so talking about vow renewals was just a natural evolution of the conversation.

Fair enough, LC. :) I think we have probably read different threads, and also I know I'm more primed to notice comments like that because I've been involved with that whole thing since the beginning. I think greenturtle would post with typical q's like throwing out BM's or something. She also gave contrary advice in some threads. I remember something about a $10,000 wedding dress that her dad paid for, but she wanted to kick out a BM for not affording the dress yet couldn't pay for it herself. I think she outed herself when she posted what was supposed to be a picture of herself in her wedding dress, but another poster found it on a used wedding dress sale site.

Beats - yeah pivko just posted something really benign at the end of a long dead thread. I couldn't even tell you which one. The thread was so dead I think I might have even been the only one to catch it when I had been gone for a couple of days and trying to catch up on stuff.

She just did basic, typical trolling. Giving out horrible advice and defending it vehemently. I think there was something (not sure which board) about having a fishbowl on the cake cutting table and Greenturtle suggested having a WP member be the "fish checker" to make sure the goldfish weren't dead, and if they were to replace them with new fish. Or something crazy like that. Sorry, this isn't much help.

That's funny, because in this very thread there are people bitching about a vow renewal discussion taking over the AYG thread. It's more about threadjacking, not against WoW. You could always start a thread about WoW if you want to talk about it.
