I love The Body Shop's tea tree oil for my blemishes.  I use Avon Nurtura Replenishing Cream for my night moisturizer and Evian water spray for during the day. I like Essie (OPI chips) nail polish. My foundation is MUF but I use ELF for my HD powder ($8.00 how can you go wrong).  I tend to wear mostly Ann Taylor or Loft clothes although my basics come from Old Navy.

I don't have any favorite shoe brands. My closet has a variety of brands, although I do wear my Toms slip-ons a lot.

Tea tree oil is amazing! I always keep a bottle of it on hand.

I also can only use Tide detergent.

I was a little hesitant the first time I used Tea tree oil but it's miraculous how fast my blemishes go down. I put some before bed and they always look smaller and not as red.
  • So much love for Tide! I used to go middle of the road with laundry detergent and was never loyal to a brand. FMIL uses Tide Sport and omg I will never use anything else ever again. FI works out all the time and sweats an ungodly amount. Tide Sport gets his works out clothes smelling fantastic again (even after they've sat for a week) and it cleans remarkably well.

Another loyalty - Wegmans. I don't care what anyone else says about any other grocery store, Wegmans is THE best. Hands down. Forever.

  • @cupcait927‌ Glad I'm not alone with my Tide love. Whenever I see someone using another brand I feel the urge to preach about it and have to restrain myself. Cause I realize that would probably be a weird thing.

I've only been to Wegman's once (the nearest one is probably 45 minutes away) and it did strike me as pretty awesome. I still love my Harris Teeter though!

Pointless update!  I found the black shoes on eBay and my offer of $175 (off retail price of about $345) was accepted!  Yee haw!  I still want to buy the nude but I'm holding off until I receive the black so I can make sure they are really new and unworn.  The shoe saga will continue for a few more weeks with international shipping, ha.

Fi convinced me to buy both colors last night.  He's the best shopping enabler buddy ever.

    SITB:

FWIW, I support the purchase of the nude ones. I got a pair of nude pumps at Target a few years ago because they were cheap and I wanted to take them for a test drive before I got something super $$. Damn, I look fine in them! Seriously, nude pumps are like some sort of magic.

I want some nice ones, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. My friend does have a pair of nude, patent Cole Haan wedges that I am also quite jealous of.

I have those wedges! I wear them so often that I keep them at my desk at work! Cole Haan outlet, $99!

A lot of food - Duke's Mayo, Heinz ketchup (the all natural, no corn syrup version), Coke Zero and Cherry Coke, Trader Joe's corn pasta, raw cashews, sour cream and onion corn puffs, pound plus chocolate (so maybe too much from TJs), Haribo gummies, Kinder chocolate products, Red's Apple Ale and Strawberry Apple Ale

Urban Decay eye primer, Physician's formula eye shadow, the Apt. 9 brand at Kohls...
I LOVE Haribo Tangfastics. If given the choice between sour candy and having an amazing body, I will choose sour candy every time.

I may or may not have those wedges too!

  • I'm a Tide girl too. I still use a lot of the same brands I grew up with - Tide, Crest, food brands (absolute yes to Heinz Ketchup). Oral B Satin Floss. It's the only thing that doesn't shred my gums or get stuck cos my teeth are so close together. While I'm not so particular to sport clothing (I do love Lulu, Nike and Under Armour), I don't buy Adidas or Reebok clothing. Not sure why, but I always skip it over when shopping.

  • Haribo raspberries and blackberries will forever be the delicious delicious bane of my existence.

Bare Minerals powder, Urban Decay eye make up.

I am so loyal to my deodorant that when I heard they discontinued the scent, I bought 15 sticks of it on Amazon. (Dove Go Fresh Grapefruit & Lemongrass if you are wondering).

I only buy Tide laundry detergent and Charmin TP (I grew up in a very Proctor & Gamble household).
I did the same thing with a Bath and Body works scent that you did with the deodorant. When I found out they were discontinuing Pearberry I bought so much of it. I still have a few bottles.

I can't use Tide. There is something in it that gives me a rash.

I thought of another thing.  I'm seriously hooked on Almay's eye makeup. I bought some on a trip once when I was desperate because I lost the make up I had taken with me and I ended up loving it more than the super expensive stuff I lost.

    OB tampons
    Banana Republic jeans
    Betsey Johnson shoes

That's all I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure there are more.

  • More Tide love here. I'm loyal for most food and hygiene things. I always buy gas from the same chain because I got a scholarship from them that paid for almost all of my undergrad degree. I sent DH to pick up some things at the grocery store and he came home with store brand everything because it was cheaper. I can deal with not having the most of the brands I like right now, but the store brand cheese is disgusting. Calling it cheese is an insult to real cheese. The stuff he bought is rubbery and a very weird shade of orange.

I used to use Tide until I found out they use dioxin as a stain treater in their detergent.  That is the same toxic chemical that leaked into Love Canal.  I, immediately,  went out and bought "All free and clear", instead.  Dioxin scares the shit out of me.  I live in Buffalo, WNY has the highest cancer rates in the US. I think it was all of the industrial pollution that is now in our water supply. Love Canal has finally opened their neighborhood to residents after being closed off to anyone for 25 years.

  • I'm noticing trends.

I love Cole Haan. I even bought them for my wedding shoes.

St Ives apricot scrub. I've been using it since I was 12 and keep using it- though it's now work anti-aging products rather than Clearasil.

Heinz. It's the only acceptable ketchup.

I'm oddly loyal to 2 local brands: El Milagro for tortillas and El Rancherito for tortilla chips.

St Ives scrub is the best! And it works better than many fancy pants scrub brands.

I've been on the lookout for nude pumps.  I have a pair of Cole Haan bronze wedges that I like, but I find the inside of them extremely slippery.

  • There are only a few things I have brand loyalty to, but they're totally worth it to me.

Work shoes - Nine West. It's one of the few brands that can accommodate my wide toes and narrow heels. Plus, I can't wear anything less than 3" heels or I start tripping over my own feet.

Powder makeup (blush, eyeshadow, loose powder, pressed powder, etc.) - Chanel

Perfume - Chanel. I've been a No. 5 girl for decades.

    Foundation and skincare - Shiseido

    Tools - Craftsman

Fancy dress shoes - Touch of Nina (ridiculously comfortable and has lots of high, high heels)

I'm under 5' tall, so I've been wearing heels for 20+ years. They're just a natural part of my feet now. DH is 14" taller than me, so I have to wear heels when we're together or I look like I'm his kid or something!
