  Threads like these delight me for the obvious Slo-Mo Train Wreck reasons, but also on a psychological level. Posters like OP do a semi-decent job of repeating the kinds of things they've heard sane, bright people say ("I'm going to take the high road" "I don't have to explain myself") but the delivery is always...off, isn't it?
