I am seriously thinking of good-willing my old kitchenware and using the new stuff that came in the mail. I've been with my FI for ten years, so the likelihood of us breaking up in the next two months does not outweigh the fact that my apartment will soon have two of everything and we look like hoarders. We only got a few things in the mail so far, but they are big boxes and I already can't use my "dining room" because of them.We have a tiny 1 bedroom apartment, it's basically a studio. Dining room is on the back half of the living room.
My shower is in two weeks so I suppose I will see how much more we end up bringing back. Nobody has really bought much off the registry yet.
Other confession: I stalk my registry.
Super excited and thankful for the stuff though! I can finally have a mature looking home, instead of a piecemeal college apartment look.
Also, I just recorded DH singing in a falsetto and dancing for the dog. Saving it for the next time he teases me about my dancing (we both lack rhythm).
I sliced my finger open last night (surface wound but bloody) and I'm working my way through a variety of children's bandaids. Currently wearing a Candyland bandaid but have already gone through Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer (I'm season agnostic), a Cynthia Rowley floral, and Dora.

This happens everyday of the week, not just Thursday.....
But, I NEVER start actual work until about 9am.
I get to work at 7:30 and then cruise the net until about 9...some days I can procrastinate until about 10...
@blabla89 totally feel you on the stocking up. I'm doing the same, just with clothes... ah!
I get to work at 9 and read TK, Cracked.com, and Reddit until about 11. On Cyber Monday, my coworkers and I all shopped until about 1 and my boss was none the wiser.
Speaking of online shopping, I spent more time looking for an engagement party dress yesterday than I did working. It's a casual barbecue, but I still want to wear something white. Finally settled on this one: http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/you-had-me-at-mellow-dress Also stalked eBay for a watch for my brother's graduation present.

This behavior can be listed on future resumes as "excellent time management skills."

Love that dress.
I like to say that my paycheck's direct deposit should go to ModCloth rather than my bank account. Jokes. I got 'em.

My new confession is sometimes I take longer if a song on the radio has come on that's my jam. I've ridden the same route twice because I loved my bus driver's taste in music and I was still early. No regrets!
I'm a day late but I have one! FI and I are moving back to Georgia
He finally has had enough of being treated like crap at his job, so we both have started putting in applications and resumes for jobs back in his hometown. I expect we'll be moving sometime over the summer. I'm really excited, but no one knows yet except us of course. I thought about giving my boss a head's up (obviously, she did not fire me over the chart fiasco I posted about last week) but they're giving me a bridal shower after work tonight and I feel like it's not the right time to be like Oh by the way...

Awesome! Where in Georgia?
Way down south in Valdosta. It's where he grew up and then we met when I was at VSU for grad school

That's two hours away from V's hometown. The town of Rhine, population 500 haha.
Confession: I take way more than my fair share of office food (like when someone bring in bagels or chips and guac) because they always put it on the empty desk in front of me, and no one can see how much I take.
Last night I made 3 tupperwares of lunches and I fucking forgot to put them in the fridge after they cooled. So I woke up and had to throw them all in the trash. I could have easily made a sandwich with lunch meat but I didn't. Decided to use this as my excuse to try the brand new sushi joint next door to my work!
I'm quoting myself because I've just had like 3 friends tell me they still would have eaten it....really? Would you guys eat chicken that's been on the counter for 10 hours?

Absolutely not. And I've never had food poison, "knocks on wood". Actually my H makes fun of me for thoroughly sanitizing the counters and sink whenever we make chicken, whether or not the meat actually touches anything. Whatever dude, I'm keeping us healthy!

@charcoalandblush
I'm an expert at doing a days work in about 3 hours.

Omg yay, another GA Knottie!
THIS.
The vent in my office must be connected to the one in the kitchen, so when someone reheats fish I want to die.
I'm always the one counting down the clock!
