  I am fine with plays that feature nudity. For me it is absolutely the context of the strip club. I view plays as I view tv and movies with nudity--those are actors on the stage/screen. In a strip club, they are real women who are there for the sole purpose of sexual entertainment.

   

  I do want to say that I have absolutely nothing against strippers. They have way more confidence and skill then I ever could!

  I don't know anyone personally that has modeled for art nude, or starred in a play nude, or anything like that, but I would see it. Me and FI have been to Aruba and I have commented on another chick's ass to him because she was fit and had a nice body, but it's just the strip club that bothers me and the reputation that guys I know give it.

  Some of these guys will go to the same strip clubs over and over and become friendly with the people there. I just don't know how many are fake numbers. The fact that they do this and then talk about my FI going makes me queasy. Some of these guys are just dirty.

  See but IMO this sounds a lot like people who are consenting to activities. If a girl agrees to go to a hotel with a guy, that's because she wants to and would do it regardless of her occupation, KWIM?   He doesn't so much hang with them anymore. He works with them, but doesn't really see them outside of work unless their car needs to be worked on. Makes me way more comfortable now. They have this whole clique at his job that goes out and gets drunk and go to strip clubs together. Some even come back to work drunk. I'm 23, FI is 25, his friends are around the same age group, albeit higher, but they love spending their money. I don't know how FI didn't get swept in, but he loves saving money and stock market, so I think I chose a winner. 

  
  

  ETA in regards to saving up money for a wedding and home and opening a college fund for future children we will have. He did that on his own, I teared up pretty bad.

  I said in another post that FI does't hang out with them anymore. And I don't interact with them. I say hello when I visit FI at work. It is fucking digusting, and I had FI delete the photo (he was going to anyway). FI works with them, so he has to interact with them. He has a newer position in the back of the warehouse so he doesn't have to talk to them, but he still works on their cars because money is money. He doesn't want to hang with them, they usually drop the car off and leave but this was just a quick oil change and diagnosis.

  He doesn't so much hang with them anymore. He works with them, but doesn't really see them outside of work unless their car needs to be worked on. Makes me way more comfortable now. They have this whole clique at his job that goes out and gets drunk and go to strip clubs together. Some even come back to work drunk. I'm 23, FI is 25, his friends are around the same age group, albeit higher, but they love spending their money. I don't know how FI didn't get swept in, but he loves saving money and stock market, so I think I chose a winner.

  Probably not. I think her point was that her being in that room has nothing to do with her profession. She could have been a woman who works as an attorney they met at a bar and she decided to go up there.

  Likewise, if a guy is going to take a picture of a woman in that situation, he's going to take a picture of her regardless of her profession.

  Though I never did say it's because they're young, it's because they're dumb and disgusting. I have other friends ~21 years old and they don't do this, they respect women. So, it's not an age thing but they are not married and in committed relationships and want to be known as "wild" or what the fuck ever he said.   He used to hang with these people and see them at parties and around the town, and he helps them with their cars still, so they aren't strictly coworkers. He will talk to them and text them, just not join them in their adventures to strip clubs or bars or anything. They will probably end up at his bachelor's party, and FI will be sure no strip club will be attended during that time. We've discussed it before as a couple.

I think we are just trying to challenge your idea that this has anything to do with whether or not a woman takes her clothes off on stage and that if your FI were to see a woman dance naked his behavior hence forth could be traced back to being in a strip club.

  I said in another post that FI does't hang out with them anymore. And I don't interact with them. I say hello when I visit FI at work. It is fucking digusting, and I had FI delete the photo (he was going to anyway). FI works with them, so he has to interact with them. He has a newer position in the back of the warehouse so he doesn't have to talk to them, but he still works on their cars because money is money. He doesn't want to hang with them, they usually drop the car off and leave but this was just a quick oil change and diagnosis. 

  Yeah I definitely think your problem is not with strip clubs, because what you've described is not a strip club or stripper "thing".  It's more that these guys he works with are scumbags.

  And even if someone did take your FI to a strip club for his bachelor party, that doesn't mean he'll fall into the actions of his coworkers.

  He used to hang with these people and see them at parties and around the town, and he helps them with their cars still, so they aren't strictly coworkers. He will talk to them and text them, just not join them in their adventures to strip clubs or bars or anything. They will probably end up at his bachelor's party, and FI will be sure no strip club will be attended during that time. We've discussed it before as a couple. 
  
  Ok so theyre your fiancées friends. If you were really so disgusted I think you'd realize that your problem isn't with the strip clubs it's with these people. Like I said before, if I had lived in another area and know better people, I would probably be okay with it. With where I'm at right now, I don't like it. If a girl agrees to go to a hotel with a guy, that's because she wants to and would do it regardless of her occupation, KWIM?   If FI was more interested in spending money, he'd be buying cars and motorcycle parts and food. Strip clubs just aren't his thing. Or taking pictures of women without their permission, regardless of clothes or profession. Is that better worded? We do not condone these actions of his coworkers and friends, and he doesn't participate or want to.

I think we are just trying to challenge your idea that this has anything to do with whether or not a woman takes her clothes off on stage and that if your FI were to see a woman dance naked his behavior hence forth could be traced back to being in a strip club.

  Like, let's say my SO or your FI cheats on either of us with a stripper. It would be easy to suddenly blame all strippers for that behavior. But did he cheat because she's a stripper or did he cheat and she just happens to be a stripper?
  

  I would never blame said stripper for her profession if FI cheated, I would blame her and her alone. But since I'm surrounded by this stigma of strip clubs, this is how I feel. Like I said before, if I had lived in another area and know better people, I would probably be okay with it. With where I'm at right now, I don't like it. Maybe once we get older and different friends and coworkers, then I'll even go to one. But right now in my life, I can't.

  I don't know anyone personally that has modeled for art nude, or starred in a play nude, or anything like that, but I would see it. Me and FI have been to Aruba and I have commented on another chick's ass to him because she was fit and had a nice body, but it's just the strip club that bothers me and the reputation that guys I know give it. 

  
  

  FI was working on a car the other day and me and his buddy were sitting next to the car, all 3 of us talking. Said buddy was talking about some strip club near the Indiana border, saying how FI will go there for his bachelor party and his past experiences with strippers and the sex they've had and so on. I personally don't know anyone that has gone to a strip club without leaving with a chick's number or hooking up with her. Yes, that's prostitution, but that's my experience, hence my feelings towards them. 

  
  

  If I was in another state with different friends, then I would probably feel different and more relaxed with them. I almost guarantee it since I'm fine with sending FI pics of ladies I find attractive or pointing out a sexy lady at the beach. Just not comfortable with strip clubs.

  Some of these guys will go to the same strip clubs over and over and become friendly with the people there. I just don't know how many are fake numbers. The fact that they do this and then talk about my FI going makes me queasy. Some of these guys are just dirty.

  He doesn't so much hang with them anymore. He works with them, but doesn't really see them outside of work unless their car needs to be worked on. Makes me way more comfortable now. They have this whole clique at his job that goes out and gets drunk and go to strip clubs together. Some even come back to work drunk. I'm 23, FI is 25, his friends are around the same age group, albeit higher, but they love spending their money. I don't know how FI didn't get swept in, but he loves saving money and stock market, so I think I chose a winner. 

  
  

  ETA in regards to saving up money for a wedding and home and opening a college fund for future children we will have. He did that on his own, I teared up pretty bad.

  There is no stigma of strip clubs! There is your fiancé who receives porn from his scum bags who are taking pictures of women without their consent. And there is a huge difference between deleting the pic and saying "whoah dude not cool. Don't send me this" your fiancé is still friends with these assholes and you are the company you keep.
