She legitimately just felt overwhelmed with everything going on and felt it best to focus on work and her marriage.

Do they know for sure? SOL on car accidents are normally a few years. The accident was less then a year ago.

As some here know, my dog was recently killed by a prescribed medication. My boss is encouraging me to sue the vet and drug company because her landlord won a few million dollars when her dog choked on a greenie, and obviously the landlord no longer works and owns rental properties in eastern long island.

And that's a DOG.

Even if she did get sued, I would hope she'd be smart enough not to post about it on Facebook. And I'd be willing to bet that even if Jells somehow knew the details of this hypothetical lawsuit, she wouldn't put it all out here.

I'm sorry for your loss. Losing our furbabies is never easy, but to have it be a preventable cause of death must be really awful.

Yeah, depending on the state, they could be slapped with that lawsuit YEARS later. I was sued for a fender bender (she said she had whiplash... I was going less than 10 mph and rear ended her) and the papers were served three years to the day after the accident.

I think they stay.. I went back and looked at a few threads and VG's love its are still there. Other banned users love its also seem to be there.

Thank you! In a way it's terrible to know that I was basically poisoning her, but at least I don't have to wonder what happened. I'm not planning on suing anyone because the vet didn't know either and volunteered the autopsy.

I'm just sharing what I know to date. Based on what she has shared, there has not been a lawsuit filed. However, if there was one and had she shared that with me, I certainly would not share that info.

I seriously doubt she'd confide in me, though. I'm just some random person that she could relate to because her H had cancer. I appreciate her support and it's always nice to chat with someone who understands, to some extent, what I went through.

Late to the party because I'm vacation but just wooooooow.

I had no idea. In retrospect the only thing that ever slightly seemed off to me was her bragging about having threesomes with the hot 20-something next door... that shit just doesn't happen in real life. But I definitely didn't even go as far as to think "that's made up", it was just like a passing feeling of annoyance.

That, and it did always seemed weird that she seemed to aggressively hate TK and actively felt persecuted by them, but was so active. I just chalked it up to wanting to "not back down" or something though.

I'm impressed how carefully some of y'all read posts and ask questions to get a sense of if someone is being real. I'd be interested to hear more about how people figured it out/built up suspicions if anyone wants to share.

I was suspicious because she turned every single post she entered into something about being gay. I have many gay friends, but none of them are aggressive about it. Yes, they eventually told me, but it does not come up in conversation very often. VG's aggressive stance just didn't ring true to me. I didn't make the connection between her and MI, though.

I will also miss having someone who clearly had no qualms about calling people (myself included) on using gender neutral/sexuality neutral terms and occasions. It is important for me in my personal life to be inclusive, and I often catch myself using non neutral terms and getting called out on it is great.

I'm not a reg and I haven't been around long enough to form personal relationships with anyone, although I hope that changes, so I can't say that I would suspect ANYONE of being a catfish. I've just honsetly never been in a large community of similar minded people and I've enjoyed that aspect here. It's why I stayed.

I also appreciate feedback from gay brides and grooms. With the changes in the law permitting legal marriage (Yay!) there will be new etiquette that will form to accommodate those changes. This is how etiquette works. It changes when we change.

You know, I am all for opening my horizons, rethinking how I refer to people when I don't walk in their shoes, etc. My problem with MI/VG was that she was so aggressive and mean about things having to do with the gay lifestyle. If you want people to change how they think or word things you can approach it in a well thought out and polite manner. She wasn't so good at that. Now QueerFemme? She's really good in that arena.

I would take for granted if someone mentioned their SO that they were the opposite sex. QueerFemme addressed that well. I learned something and had a new approach on thinking differently. MI/VG/whoever should take lessons from her. Not gonna miss her at all!

I agree that while she did open eyes (mine included) and make us all more aware of being more correct and inclusive, she was WAY too aggressive and off-putting about it.

I said this last week - for someone who fights to hard for the argument that there is more to gay people than their sexuality (which I agree with), she seemed to ONLY talk about her sexuality.
