Just back from the doctor! She was great as always...reassuring, gave me a list of safe meds for the cold and most importantly Baby Minskat is doing well (heartbeat is 150-160). All my test results are normal and my infection is gone too! My doctor also called me a trooper for making it through India in the first trimester.

I'm a happy lady right now.

@minskat30 YAYYYYYYY!!!!!! So glad everything is well! Also, baby's hearbeat is a little on the higher end of the normal range - soooo old wives tale says it's a girl!!!

ETA: We'll have to keep track of you and @CocoBellaF and see how the wives tales line up with reality. I know @southernpeach89's baby girl had a higher fetal heartbeat, but then there were some other signs that said boy. I think she was 60/40 on girl/boy old wives tale signs.

Ha! @labro - H is hoping for a girl actually....I thought he would want a boy but he said he doesn't want to have to deal with a mini-him, lol.

He'll be happy either way though. I don't care if its a boy or a girl but I think the Chinese gender test says girl too. That said, I had a dream recently that I had a penis as well as a vagina and you know what those dreams mean....its clearly a boy...or I'm not getting enough....or I'm tripping...more likely the latter. In all seriousness, I'll be getting the genetic test done next month that my doctor recommended and the upside of the test is it will tell you the gender. I can't wait.

OMG, YOU GUYS........... Today is the anniversary of Freddie Mercury's death. Not even kidding. I go to check FB, and Queen posted something about it.

Just a bit of a crazy coincidence. I vote moment of silence in rememberance, followed by everyone being required to rock out to Bohemian Rhapsody on their way home!

I totally understand having a first song for your car. I don't know what mine was, but BF was incredibly excited to play the Black Keys Brothers album on his new car speakers when he took me for my first drive around!

I know I am super late to this thread but just wanted to let everyone know that my SS should be receiving her gifts this week and next week. Unfortunately they are in two shipments because I was way too late to order one, have it sent to me, and ship it out again before the deadline (so sorry...work was insane and then traveling on top of that, so I had it sent directly to her instead), but they are on the way!
