Finally Friday!

Good morning! It's here! It's Friday!

I ordered a throw blanket from Pottery Barn earlier this week because it was on sale and I had a gift certificate that was expiring. It was delivered yesterday and it is THE BEST and SOFTEST thing that's ever touched my skin.

After work, I'm meeting H and our friends for drinks and the Devils game. We might go out for a little afterwards depending on if H has to work or not tomorrow.

My plan for tomorrow involves checking out a holiday craft show, sitting on my couch under my new blanket while organizing wedding pictures, buying a Christmas tree (!!!!!), and prepping food for the work week.

Sunday, I'm meeting @cu97tiger , @Hummingbird125 , and @Peaseblossom55 for brunch! I can't wait to see them all! I'm meeting another friend to watch the Eagles game and then the Devils play again that night. So Sunday will be a loooong but very fun day!

Morning!

Bf is away this weekend so I'll be working tomorrow all day, and then Sunday my roommate and I both have the day off so after we clean the house we are gonna go get our Christmas tree and finish decorating! And presumably watch bad Christmas hallmark and lifetime movies cause that's what we do

Today I am working in the evening. I'm getting antsy, my new dog training classes start in January. I wanted a gap between myself and the old trainer who jusy left so that I wasn't taking any of her students and so I could get into my own routine. I already have a nice long list of clients I have to call and schedule, I just gotta figuee out when my classes will actually start. I was also invited to join a sponsorship program by a dog food company yesterday, so I'm gonna be getting some free treats, toys, and other training tools to use in my classes every few weeks. Yay!

Not a whole lot going on for me this weekend. This afternoon I'm planning to hang with @southernpeach89 and Callie for a little while.

Saturday H is replacing some motor in our fridge because it's been making a lot of noise and I plan to do yard work and FINALLY finish all of my Christmas decorating since hanging lights outside is impossible during the work week.

Sunday I'm hoping we can meet some friends and go to the art museum. They have a really cool special exhibition of relics from the Hapsburg royal family that I'm interested in.

@untouchablets sounds like you're off to a really strong start! The sponsorship sounds like a great deal!

3 papers and 2 finals now are all that stand between me and freedom!! My goal is to get at least two of the papers done today (hopefully work isn't too crazy). The third paper and my two finals will be done this weekend.

My bf had an extreme emotion evening... he entered a contest with a radio station and ended up winning a snowboard, plus $400 towards new gear, 2 passes to one of the mountains, plus dinner for 2. On his way home his transmission went out. He was able to make it to his parents, so we left his car there last night. Luckily he was already looking for another car, we were just hoping his would make it through the new year so it would be one less expense to deal with this year.

I'm so glad it's Friday. I'm off at 11:00, so I only have 3 more hours left.

I have a thyroid bloodwork check-up at 1:00, and then a massage at 6:00 (HALLELUJAH!!!!!!). I think H is going to take me to Luby's for dinner, because I am really cool and it's the only thing that I can imagine choking down right now. Their mac and cheese is the best. I am totally judging myself.

I need to do my Christmas decorating this weekend. That's probably about all I'll do in between naps.

To my SS: H was supposed to mail out your gift yesterday, but I think he's doing it today. He has a UPS account at work so I send my packages with him. Sorry it's the last minute, but I love you!

Oh! So apparently this is the week for NEY dreams.

Last night I had a dream that @GoldenPenguin and her H came to my house to visit AND they brought Violet and Bruschi!!! Violet was so snuggly, I asked her to make sure she got tons of golden hair all over my black pants I was wearing in the dream and Bruschi was the cutest pup ever. He made best friends with Cinders too! In the dream, @GoldenPenguin, my H, her H, and I were all standing in the garage admiring my new car and the engine was running and all of a sudden I realized the garage door was closed so I rushed to open it before we all suffocated. It was just a tiny bit bizarre.

@labro I so want to do yard work, but its cold and muddy here...no bueno.

I'm so anxious to get home already and see what SHOULD be a completed kitchen (except for back splash and paint). I'm crossing everything I have that they don't come up against some kind of set back. I NEED my kitchen back!

Tonight will be working with Bean on makeup work, and organizing the new pantry. I'm hoping to spend tomorrow putting up Christmas decorations and going to buy our tree, while doing more makeup work with Bean.
On Sunday, we'll hopefully be taking Bean to Futsal, but I don't think we've given the club their OP for the new facility - so that could get delayed a week.
Other than that I'm gonna CLEAN!

I got my SS gift yesterday and I LOVE IT. It actually came yesterday and the day before because it was in two parts, and I thanked her privately already. I can't wait until reveal day!

@TwoDimes - I watched the game when I got into bed and fell asleep during the 2 minute warning commercial when they were down by 2 (I think?). What a win! H and I are taking Lucy to see Santa next Sunday! I can't wait to see Indy's picture!

Last night I got my coat (pic attached)! I ordered it in two sizes and one fit, but the arms are a bit snug. So I can't wear anything bulky under it like a thick sweater. Which shouldn't be a problem since here in Texas we only have two kinds of weather: "hot" and "hotter".
We also made a decision on the new carpet. The guys can't get it installed until the week of the 14th which is way too late. So we decided to just wait until January. H already scheduled it for the second week of Jan so we have time to put up and enjoy our Christmas decorations, but we'll be able to get the carpet in before my birthday on the 15th. It's so nice to have an end date on the calendar.
I'm excited for the weekend. I need to do some more Christmas shopping (with my mom, yay!) and H and will be putting up Christmas lights on the house. Only 2 more weeks until our nice long break from work!

@swazzle - OMG that blanket looks like heaven. I'm in the market for a new throw for the couch.
@untouchablets - My favorite cheesy movie is Jingle All the Way. So bad, but so good!
@labro - I hear you on the Christmas lights. How am I supposed to get anything done when it gets dark at 6:00?!
@speakeasy14 - That's definitely good news and bad news for your bf. Hopefully y'all can get a new car that's affordable. I know how bad the timing is with Christmas around the corner. November and December are always that hardest months for us money-wise.

@Swazzle - I have that same PB blanket (MIL got it for me for Christmas last year) and it is my absolute favorite blanket in the whole wide world. I've actually been keeping it squirreled away in the cedar chest so Bruschi doesn't do anything to it, haha.

@labro - OMG I love your dream, and I wish it was real life. Well, except for the suffocating in the garage hahaha

I had my client's Christmas party last night, which was fun. But I got home SO LATE, and then I couldn't fall asleep (which is a running theme this week with this terrible medication) so I'm SO tired. I'm going to visit one of my college roommates this weekend - she's going through a terrible divorce (while pregnant & also mothering a 2-year-old. Yea, it's really really bad) - so I'm looking forward to that. Violet & I will take off tomorrow morning and spend Saturday night with her. She has two Goldens, and it was a requirement that Vi come with me!

Last night was busy. Left work at 3pm, and ran my ass down the street to my mum's place. Threw clothes off and threw dress on. Apparently it'd shrunk after last time I wore it because it was quite shorter than I knew. Luckily I had tights, so that was fine.
The Nutcracker was AMAZING! Even though I love/loved my wedding dress, if I was gonna go non-form fitting it would have to fall mid-shin and be like one of the ballet dresses. {of course, I would have done something underneath because that would be cool}

Anyways .... fancy dinner before. Ate so fast my stomach hurt lol I learnt that my mother does not like artichokes!

Didn't get home until late and luckily Matt had made a casserole for dinner, so lunches were pretty much made lol

Tonight is Matt's xmas party. I really don't wanna go *sigh*

I have 3 things to buy, then I am DONE shopping! 2/3 are gift cards, one I know what I'm getting.

Actually .... I'll probably break budget at this rate

oh well, people will love!

re bf car: we agreed that he is getting something used. He beats on cars way too much to have something nice. He also promised to clean up my car since it is filled with all his trash. He is why we can't have nice things haha

re bf winning: even with a dead car, he can't stop smiling. He completely embellished his story to win, but whatever makes him happy.
