@GoldenPenguin - You look SO GOOD in purple! I vote #3 or #4 for the wedding, but the polka dot dress is also adorable so I wouldn't blame you for wanting to keep it at all!
@GoldenPenguin I really really love the two purple dresses! I'm not crazy about the polka dot dress just because I'm personally not a fan of keyhole necklines. 100% agree on your opinions on the other two.
I like #2, #4, and #5. I think #2 defines your waist really well and I love the pattern on #4. The polka dot dress is obviously a keeper because polka dots.

#2 (the black) or #3 (the solid purple)?
I really do love the polka dots - BUT I will have to wear a strapless bra if I go with that one and... mehhhhh.
@TwoDimes Maybe you could do an all-dress fix, make sure to ask for the cheaper the better, and then in your letter to your stylist emphasize cheap sundresses!
ETA: I like keyholes in the back too! I just don't love them when they are in the front. On me it's more like a boobie hole....you see everything!
@GoldenPenguin - #2 black (Lezlie dress) was the one I was talking about. Re: the polka dots, I totally understand not wanting to have to wear a strapless bra!
I got my fix last night and I loved it! It's going to be a 3/5 but only because of size and fit.
Fierro Elbow Patch Crew Neck Sweater
I love this sweater and I am wearing it today! It is hard to tell but it's a light mint green and the elbow patches are navy blue. KEEP
Moni Chain Print Stud Detail Blouse
This shirt was very cute, but WAY too tight. I could barely breath and my boobs were about to bust out. Add that to it making me look pregnant, and this is a big 'ol RETURN.
PAPERMOON Soren Dress
This dress is very cute and comfy. It flows easily and I just love it all around. KEEP
Macie Bootcut Jean and Jaclynn 3/4Sleeve Button-Up Cardigan
At first I was iffy on both of these. I knew the jeans might not fit, because SF only goes up to 14 and I'm more of a 16. I was able to put them on and zip and button them (!!!!!!!!) but they were too snug and created too much of a muffin top. They are really soft though so maybe down the road when I lose more weight I can get them again. The cardigan didn't look great with the jeans, but I put my work pants back on and it looked better so I think I will keep it. It's soft and I love the color maroon so this was a KEEP and RETURN.
My stylist was Sydney and she wrote right in the card that she took most of these off my Pinterest board. I was so happy that she did that because those are things that I really wanted. If these had all fit, it would have been a total 5/5 and I am going to make sure to note that when I send the two items back.
@caseface5 - I love that dress and the cardigan on you SO much!
I put pants on hold for the time being since I'm losing weight and that's where I'll lose it mostly. I'll still be the same size top when I get to my goal weight because of my boobies.
I say send the pants back and then as you continue your weight-loss, request them as a reward for yourself.
@caseface5 that dress is super cute!! You can tell you were way too squished in that second top. It looks like the fabric had no give. I agree with @swazzle's advice for the pants.
@Swazzle I was thinking about unchecking pants and I might have to. I was going to wait a bit before I order my next fix but my co-worker might be using my referral so I might not wait too long. I love the idea of getting them as a reward!
@TwoDimes it's $68. A little more than I would usually spend, but I love it so I'm keeping it!
@speakeasy14 My face says squished doesn't it? LOL. NOT COOL!
@caseface5 - I agree with everything you kept! I love the elbow patches, and the color of that shirt in general. The Moni is definitely not a fabric with any stretch, but I'm still bummed it didn't fit you because it feels so nice on your skin! But I think you in that dress is the real winner!
I'm mostly a lurker here, but I just have to thank you ladies... I stopped my fixes last year after a couple of so-so boxes, but I've been in dire need of new clothes. Reading this thread convinced me to give them another try. Well, I got my fix today, and I have to say... as long as everything fits this may be a 5/5 box! I can't wait to get home to try everything on. I don't have pictures, but these are the items I got:
Just Black Amira Ankle Zip Skinny Jeans $78 (I couldn't find a picture of the "Amira" style jeans that I received. They're similar to this but very dark navy with silver zips at the ankles. These are the same brand in a different style.) RD Style Giana Open Drape Cardigan $68 Pixley Polly Abstract Chevron Tie-Waist Tunic $54 (I stalked the items in my fix once the checkout link was available, and I was convinced I wouldn't like this from the pictures I found online. But when I got it the colors, fabric, and print were much nicer than I expected.) Moon Lauri Zipper Detail Pullover Sweater $68 (This one also has black pleather elbow patches, which you can't see in the picture.) Sweet Grey Cusso Cowl Neck Knit Pullover $118 (Another one I didn't think I'd like, but the fabric feels SO comfy.. Can't wait to try it on!) I might come back here for opinions if you ladies don't mind. Thanks again, I'm so glad I scheduled a fix!
Ok, here we go..(sorry for the dirty mirror and room... My closet flooded, so all of my shoes and clothes are living on the floor/chair/desk until the landlord gets it fixed)
Pixley Polly Abstract Chevron Tie Waist Tunic, styled a couple different ways. Pretty sure this is a keeper: Just Black Amira Ankle Zip Skinny Jeans and Sweet Grey Cowl Neck Knit Pullover. Jeans are a definite keeper, and I'm leaning that way on the top too. It's different than what I'd usually wear but it's soooo comfy and I need to add more decent casual stuff to my wardrobe. Just Black Jeans with the RD Style Open Drape Cardigan. Oh my goodness ladies.... If you ever get this sweater, do. Not. Let. It. Go. So soft and comfy! And lastly, the only piece I don't like, the Moon Lauri Zipper Detail Sweater. I was hoping for something a bit looser and more tunic-like, but this is tight and fits awkwardly in the arms. It doesn't fit at all if I zip the zippers all the way. If I keep everything else, it's actually cheaper to just keep this too, so I'm sort of leaning in that direction. I've posted it to a couple buy/sell/trade boards. I have until 2/5 to decide what I'm going to do. I'd love your thoughts!
@relliotts - I actually really love the last sweater on you--I think it flatters your figure really nicely. But flattering does not equal =/= comfort, and if the sleeves are too tight feeling then that would be a no-go for me too...tight sleeves are the worst! Love everything else...that cardigan looks super comfy, and I love the colors in the first top!
I got my 20th Fix over the weekend and it's probably my worst one ever. I don't even have pictures. I was/am so disappointed because I had really been looking forward to it. The note from my stylist was so impersonal and barely filled half of the card. I don't even know if I'm going to keep anything because I really won't wear any of it.
