Well damn. Chase's entire system, including the phone line, is completely down so I can't even transfer my balance. How inconvenient. But at least I got the Discover account started.

Whenever I've done a balance transfer, I've done it via the card I'm transferring onto not the card I'm transferring from.  But maybe discover is different? I've only done chase and citi.

KW, DH refuses to use cloth too. He says the snaps confuse him. We have mostly pockets with velcro though, so I occaisionally get him to use one. We use cloth full time though, except for bedtime and when we'll be out and about for several hours. Sparky sleeps better in a sposie.

Yes, it says 18 of 25 at the bottom of the page.

Maybe, it's counting other pictures you uploaded in your account.

I don't know what you mean by this, as far as transferring via the card. I don't have a Discover card since I just set up the account.

I can't transfer from Chase because the system is down. I can't access anything from my account, and I need the total amount on the card, which I don't know offhand.

Sorry I wasn't very clear! For example, my citi card used to be the only card i had.  When I got a Chase card, I was able to do a balance transfer with it.  To do that balance transfer, I did it via Chase, not via Citi.  So in your situation (if it worked the same as mine) you would do it via Discover, not via Chase.

What she means is on the Discover website you should be able to put in your Chase CC# and the amount you want to pay off and they take the transfer from there. You dont have to do anything on your Chase account side.

Yeah, but I can't access my account so I don't know what the balance is. I know the card and account #, just not what I currently owe.

ETA - I don't get paper bills. And when I called they said the system is down. So annoying. Hopefully it's back up this week.

Hello ladies! Got up at 6am for a sunrise run of 8 miles with three of my running buddies. I usually prefer to run alone, but seeing as how I've never run that great a distance in one shebang, I figured it would be good to have some other people there to keep me motivated. Two of the gals that ran today are doing the Disney Princess Half Marathon with me. I averaged about 10:38min/mile, which is right around my goal time for the half. I hate my body sometimes. I can't eat before I run because I'll feel queasy mid-run, but after I run long distances, I get the shakes and feel the need to eat, but am so neauseas (noshes? Lol) and weak that I can't eat. I got home fromthe run at around 9:30am and am only just now getting hungry. I want Chipotle. H is still asleep so I think I might run over there and get us a couple burrito bowls.

[QUOTE]Morning all.  Just got back from the grocery stores.  We have to go to two different ones - Whole Foods for produce & meats and then a local store for staples kind of stuff.  Annoying.  I would love delivery but not for produce.  I don't think I'd trust someone picking that stuff out for me. And I just cleaned out our freezers.  Holy crap, I probably threw at least $200 worth of food away.  What a flucking waste.   Time to start cubing meat for Beef Bourguignonne.  Looks like Sunday is our beef day.  At least it has been for the last three weeks. Sesh, is it just the Chase phone system down or can you get online?  I think a lot of sites do maintenane on the weekends so they should be up by tomorrow.

DH found an awesome deal on CraigsList a couple of months ago - 8 month old front loader washer + dryer, including pedestals for $700.  After I sold my old front loader the net out of pocket was only $550.  Quietest and best machines I have ever owned.  Score.

I wish we had a washer/dryer in our apartment. There is one in the basement but it is shared and the dryer doesn't work well. We usually find it easier to just go to the laundromat.

Just got back from the gym and now we're off to the bar to watch the Ravens/Pats game. Hoping those two things cancel each other out a bit.
