So I can't help but look at rings online, and I came across Abazias.com. I noticed how much lower in price their diamonds are. I guess my question is, have any of you or your FI purchased a ring or diamond from this site and are they legit? If so, there are some major deals going on.
Re: Abazias, legit?
I think it would just be tough for me to buy a ring without actually getting to see it, or something similiar.

They sell real diamonds, not lab-created stone.
The markup on jewelry/diamonds is HUGE. Brick and motar stores have more overhead, so they charge even more.
I personally will never buy a a diamond in a traditional jewelry store again. I got my center stone from GoodOldGold, and got far more information and better idea at the sparkle by looking at it online. I paid $1500 and it appraises at over $2500.
Here's my diamond ( http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/7201/ ), you can see a lot more information about the quality of the cut and sparkle by their ASET, DiamX, and microscopic images than you'd ever be able to tell as a customer in a jewelry store.
[QUOTE]Yes, Abazias is legit. And they are one of the recommended diamond venders on PriceScope.
