Ladies, I am KUI again.  I probably ought to stop drinking so much wine, but hey!  It's how I deal with the south.  :)

Anyways, I've been sewing all day and my fingers are screaming.  Anyone around?

    You guys are never going to believe what I did.  I'm doing a quilt for one of Mast's roommates, and I drew it out and it was going to be red and white squares with white trim and a red back (he's a Manchester United fan), and then I cut it and was putting it together tonight, and thought I needed to go get more red fabric.  Nope.  I'm an idiot.  I forgot I was doing white trim so I cut the red for the trim instead of the back.  The back is now special.  I'm a moron.

    Lesson learned:  Don't wine and quilt.  And yet, I continue to do it.

    Sooo.... I need to find a caterer, like, yesterday.

    The caterer that we wanted to use strung us along for two months and then called FI on Friday and said they're not taking on any more catering jobs.  And then hung up on him.

    We've spoken to a local restaurant that also does catering, but they haven't sent us prices yet.

    Why won't this wedding just plan itself?  I mean, we picked the venue, and I don't want to do anything else.  It's very weird.  I thought I would be super into this crap.  I'm soooooo not.

    We are going to put a deposit on our rings tomorrow, though.  So, that's like, 4 checks.  Hahaha.

    I'll plan your wedding for a fee of bottles of wine.  Doesn't even have to be amazing wine.  Can be mid-shelf wine.  Or vodka.  I'll plan for vodka.  And food.

    Hi girls!  I am sober and doing HW :(  Sucks but I wanted to say hi and talk :)  I haven't been around for the last two days because I am working on a fire complex for work (so awesome.)  No I am not literally working fire lines but I am helping planning.  It's fun and I got major overtime today!  Which was awesome.  FI has taken to calling me sugar mama today.  LOL

    SPK that sucks about your cater!  :(  I am so sorry!  *hugs*  I hope everything falls into place for you!

    Have you ladies seen the previews on TLC for the new show "Virgin Diaries?"  Their first kiss grosses me out so much.

    Heyyyy...  do you guys want to help me shop for my wedding shoes?  I really want to get those ordered in the next day or two... ideally, I'd like to have them in my possession by the time I go pick up my dress on Saturday.

    Oh, I will be watching it.  Even though it weirds me out that they waited until they got married to have their first kiss.  That's taking it a bit too far, IMO.  Also, the guy in the audience who covers his face and laughs after seeing them gnawing each others faces makes me laugh.

    I've never been a huge fan of egg nog, but FI loves it.

    I'm drinking apple cider with Sailor Jerry rum.  Still holiday-appropriate, right?

    I'm trying to get involved with my month board....but it's hard. Making new friends is always hard.

    You two are so festive.  I'm just drinking white wine.  But, that's probably appropriate seeing how it's in the high 70s here right now...

    It feels so odd to put up a Christmas tree inside and Christmas lights outside when you're wearing shorts and flipflops and sweating during the process...
