I think what she's trying to say is that the contents of your message board posts reflect your maturity level.. hence the "I know you are, but what am I"

This isn't high school. If they bother you that much, try being mature and ignore them. I think you're closer to 15 than 18. How you post and reply definitely reflects that.

Honey, I think you're confusing sarcasm and immaturity.

    You asked a question.
    These women gave you answers.

Please reread Peekaboo's advice.  Is it what you want to hear? Probably not.  Is it what you need to hear? YES.

O.K. i'm tired of waisting my time trying to explain to ya'll that I do know i have a attitude problem, and i'm working extremely hard on it. But it dont help when I still have these ridiculously rude women still  knit picking EVERYTHING I do wrong. Thank you so much for your advice, and it sure has helped but, for you nasty women that think its ok to insult someone to make your self feel better, dont have any sense to not be rude good luck with ya'll I would seriously look at how i acted an try to change it. Have a great day and good luck all of ya'll who are getting married and is already married. :)

Well at least this conversation went somewhere.

Take into consideration what the women suggested: grammar& punctuatuation allow you to communicate better with others on these boards.  It's just how it is.  If you have any more questions, stick around and ask.  We might not tell you what you want to hear, but we will tell you what we think.  I've gotten advice from some of these ladies and the advice that they have given me has been better than any piece of advice that my IRL friends could have given me.

iloveguero09:  you're being a little aggressive.  I'd suggest taking a breath, stepping away from the computer for a little while, and realizing that no one is trying to be mean or rude to you.  you've admitted you have an attitude problem, and it's really showing right now.  while you may think that people are being rude, the problem may be that you are having some insecurity problems.  if you don't like what someone says, then ignore it.  that's all you can do.

I'd also suggest some anger management techniques, like slow-breathing and even meditation.  not only will it help with your attitude, but it will make you feel better physically, emotionally, and mentally.  and your boyfriend and son deserve that.  you deserve that.

also, is your son by your boyfriend, or is there a different father in the mix?  are you still attending high school?

Well my sons father raped me thats how i got pregnant. yes im still attending high school i have the rest of this and next year and i graduate.

I'm sorry to hear about your rape.  I know that it can be life-shattering.

since you've still got some time before you graduate from high school, I'd recommend that you really concentrate on learning some self-control and making good grades.  it's a great investment in your future, and it'll give you something to be proud of.  it'll also be a great distraction when you start to obsess about getting engaged or married.  you will never regret a good education, I can promise you that!

wedding planning can really suck.  you shouldn't do ANY planning for a wedding (even minor planning) until you've graduated and have a steady jobs, a steady income, and some savings.  I know weddings and engagement sound so romantic, but it's no more romantic than dating... and a LOT more stressful and expensive.

also, you really should go to pre-marital counseling and work your way through a book like Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts or 1000 things to ask before getting engaged.

don't just graduate...  do WELL in school.

dont see why anyone wouldnt have a ring, it is only a symbol, and can cost any amount, a man can ask you to marry him without a ring, but then dont you just go and choose one within your budget, people always find a means to get the things they want, like dinners out, cars, vacations, nice clothing whats the difference, sounds like a cop-out to me, like getting married but not been able to afford a dress, you would in principle get any dress what was suitable within your budget, like i said i see it as a symbol, you can always upgrade later in life like your wedding aniversary's etc: when you have more desposible income.

But hey this is internet Forum for you, its not for the faint of heart, wishing you all the best and hope all the right things and right relationships happen for you, most of us have all the wrong thinking at 18yrs old, just take your time.
