Good morning

One of H's former customers had a little dog, female, that always humped people. And he never stopped her so the entire time you're talking to him, you're trying to nicely push this dog off your leg. As much as I love dogs, I really hate the humpers and want nothing to do with them.

Morning all!

Owen has been keeping me busy lately.  it's amazing how much work it is to just care for a kid that pretty well only sleeps and eats. 

We spent the long weekend at the ILs, which was pretty good, it was nice to be able to hand Owen off to someone so I could relax a bit.  Sadly there was not a lot of napping that happened. 

The weather here has been crazy lately.  I turned the A/C on yesterday.  We don't really need it today, but tomorrow and the next day are supposed to be crazy hot and humid, so I might as well leave it on!

Good morning. I have been busy working and getting stuff done and I haven't been around much. I miss everyone so here I am. I don't have to be at work until 3 today so I'm sitting here watching reruns Tabathas salon take over. Today is my kids 15th birthday and my puppy has an ear infection, it's going to be an interesting day.

I think the theory behind FB is a great one, and it can be used in a lot of good ways, but it's turned into a bunch of kids posting crazy stuff and pictures and making drama.  I have some radio stations that I've liked on there, and all the time these kids are posting as comments "shout out to me and I'll get you 1999 friend requests".  Why?  I could go on about this for days.

And I'm annoyed I broke the little plastic holder for my FitBit and can't find a replacement on the website.  I don't need the complete unit - just the damn clip thing.

Do not be fooled.  Female dogs hump stuff too.  Lucy has a blanket that she will push up onto me, she'll grab a mouthful of it and start going to town.  It's pretty disturbing.

I'm only on page two.  Are we still posting about FB?  I think most of the stuff I post on FB is random crap, or I'll ask questions that I know will get people discussing.  I enjoy spectating, hehe.

I've actually read somewhere that encouraged you to post your workouts on FB, but moreso to keep you accountable - like if you're going to bed at night you post "Getting up at 6am for yoga" so you have it in your head that all your friends know you're gonna do yoga, so if you don't, then you suck.  I wouldn't do that, though.  I'll sometimes FB or tweet about workouts but I don't think it's in a braggy way - more like in a "time to do work" way?  Whatever.  Lol.  If you stare at FB long enough EVERYTHING that EVERYONE does will piss you off.

I can understand that to an extent, but just make a private page that only your workout buddies might care about, but dont subject your other FB friends to it.

AATB, I sometimes post about a race or something, especially if it's lottery based and I  get in. 

 Like I said before, half the time when things like that drive me batty it is probably a smidge of jealousy on the working out part but then again... if I posted every healthy meal I made and workout I did I would probably look exactly like the people I hate on FB.  Completely irrational.

Oh I agree.  It's like candy and alcohol, man.  Everything is fine in moderation.

I don't mind seeing pictures of people's kids or pets or posts about exercise, but if it's a sea of posts and pictures of the same crap and one-uppage then yeah, that is for sure obnoxious, and you should be banned from the internets forever.

What I don't get/hate is when people ONLY post pictures that are some internet meme or reposts from George Takei. Once in a while is fine, once a day is excessive, 15x an hour will get you deleted from my friends list. Yes, they are funny, but they don't make YOU funny. Sorry.

At least FB consolidates them if 15 people repost the same one, so I don't have to see them 15x, but yeah, why don't people realize that half of FB already friended him, so there is really no need to repost them.
