Good morning

Morning! Or I guess really, afternoon!

I had my "interview" for my job today.  It was't really an interview since they had already agreed to hire me, but for HR purposes they have to document that they interviewed me.  Now they just have to check my references as a formality and hopefully I can start within 2 weeks!  I'm so excited.

And this is probably a P&R since I have to go clean the house.  We are going to IL to visit my grandparents tomorrow - Saturday afternoon, then Saturday night visitors are arriving to stay for the week, so we need to get the house ready now.

That's great! What's the job?

H and I went to a very nice dinner last night with his boss and his wife. I like the guy but omg it's impossible to get a word in edgewise. I basically just nodded along, smiled, and ate my delicious steak. H threw up all last night. He does that a lot. I am getting worried about him.

I'm going to pick up my overpriced bm dress for a friend's wedding today and I am taking my engaged sis so she can start trying on wedding dresses! Yay!

Does anyone know why TK randomly signs you out of your account? All I did was refresh the page. That's happened a few times recently and it's really irritating.

Sere, does you H have an ulcer or something?  Or is he like my H and refuses to go to a doctor so he has no idea?

Thanks everyone!  I will be a social worker for a deaf mental health unit.  I'll be doing a combination of case management and therapy with deaf people who have a mental health diagnosis.    I've been a case manager before, but only with adult clients.  This job I get to work with kids as well, so I'm excited about that.  Plus I'll get some therapy experience in rather than just straight case management, which is awesome.

If my husband would ever figure out where he wants to be a citizen, then he could get a passport and we could do a Canada trip. That would be amazing. As it is, he can't leave the country. He's just being lazy about it.
