How anyone would find it in oneself to crate a living creature is fcking BEYOND me! And I'm going to go ahead and flame Blue for flaming me for exactly what she did.  Both of us were standing firm in our opinions.  I never once said that there were NO unproductive people that smoke pot.  I was trying to get her to see the other side of it and she wasn't having it, which is fine.  We're both stubborn when we feel strongly about something.  I knew that when I got into the debate with her.  I knew we probably wouldn't see eye to eye no matter how many pages we went back and forth for, but I still enjoyed the debate.  

I do get why people don't want to see it legalized, but I don't agree.  I don't see how standing my ground means that I'm not open to others arguments.  I said several times in that thread that I was speaking from MY experience.  I also don't get how someone with such a similar approach can flame me for it.

I've followed the general guidelines with all four of my dogs, and they are very comfortable in their crates. My Boxer mix is so attached to his that WOE! if I try to take it apart or put it in a spare room so it isn't underfoot.

I don't use the crates on a daily basis anymore. For me, the idea was to establish a safe, secure place in the house for each dog (two are rescues and really benefited from that aspect of it!) and to confine them while they were still housetraining or their respective destructive puppy phases. Now, I really only use the crates if I have people coming over, since a pack of four can be overwhelming for new people. I have three large crates open in a room, though, and the dogs are in and out of them every day. The two little ones like to snuggle and typically share.

I agree with all of this.

There is a difference in smoking recreationally vs being a pothead.  Someone that chooses to smoke every now and again for pleasure and doesnt have a dependency on it doesnt make them a pothead in my book.  That would be saying that just b/c I have a glass of wine for pleasure every now and again makes me an alcoholic, is crazy.  The same goes for someone who chooses to grown their own pot for their own personal use vs growing it for mass distribution and profit.  Yes, it is completely against the law to grow, smoke, sell, etc. but for me there is an extreme difference in recreational vs regular

I dont for the record but I do know people that do so I can see the differences between how its used.
