I think this week has had some flame worthy stuff so Im going to start this:

I flame Middlesex Fells for her post about the Tea Party.  Im all for having your own view on things, but If I came on here and said "All you liberals can EABOD and shove your view up your butt" people would flip out (rightfully so).  There is having a different view than others, and then there is being an asshole.

Also, Sweded, I like you and all, but sometimes I find getting into a discussion with you exhausting.  I wish you were more open to the other side of something you disagree with.  The opinions thread irked me a bit, which is strange because I love a good debate. 

And then there is Cassandra- I still cal troll.

Ditto the cassandra flame.  Her 'talking' style and Stacieshithead's are quite similar, too.  That doesn't really help my opinion of her, at all.  Maybe I just don't 'get' their sense of humor? But I'm pretty good with sarcasm.

Celles really pissed me off in the thread about religious v. animal rights.  I get that animals should have rights but calling people's religious traditions whims or implying that they aren't worthwhile is wrong.  I don't question atheists or agnostics so who is she to judge my religious beliefs or those of others.  Its that type of double standard intolerance that makes me want to punch people.

I don't think that religious traditions that cause unnecessary pain or suffering to any living creature are worthwhile.  If a behavior is stupid, petty or cruel, then I am going to call it stupid, petty or cruel.  It doesn't get a free pass because it's associated with a religion.

I have terrible TK memory and can never remember when I want to flame someone, unless it's a really big deal, like the dog thread on CC yesterday.

I don't find slaughtering animals for religious purposes in order to eat them in a humane way to be unnecessary or cruel.  Just like I find it necessary to slaughter animals to eat them.....I've employed both a gun and bow and arrows. 

I just think people should have a bit more tact and respect for religious beliefs.

I didn't read all of that thread, I couldn't.  Some girls aren't educated about their menstrual cycle and just don't know.

And some one has to be the first person to start. They don't have friends to talk to about it.  I was 14 and knew, but my kid sister started the day after her 10th birthday. It was confusing, and she didn't have many peers to discuss it with.
