I think Ricks' reaction to the stripper thing in yesterday's thread was snotty and condescending.  And I understand that she works with them, but to be honest I'm disappointed that her "well I work with them so I know what I'm talking about" attitude seemed to be okay, but when Mery did it errybody was all up her ass about it.  It's the same thing, and I know Ricks is a well-liked reg but that doesn't mean that it's okay.

Wait, Im confused where you are coming from with this.  I didnt say there was no such thing as a productive pot-head, or that she was full of it by saying she knew only productive ones.  I said it was my view that most pot heads are not productive (meaning some are/can be).

I didnt think I got judgemental at all in that thread, other than stating that I wish she was more open to the idea that there are other opinions out there on the topic.

Nuggs- I'm so glad you compared it with Mery because I thought the EXACT same thing. That statement got me worked up because I have had opposite experiences. Like I said, everything is relative to one's experiences. I had to just walk away from the thread altogether before I told everyone way too much about myself.

I'm a little more calm since she explained herself to LTZ, but I could still argue with her 'til my face turned blue.

The only time I have pushed the issue was in the love/hate fest thread. Just because there is no way to have proof doesn't mean that I can't think that it's her. I (among others, I think) had a feeling that KatEyes was Mica before she accidentally outed herself and that was right. It's been more than just the join date. I feel like there have been similar posting patterns. There was also some confusion about a dog similar to hers being Mica's avatar. It's just a feeling that I have had, and it seemed like an appropriate place to bring it up.

Yeah, I said in my flame (the first post in here) that I didnt have a problem with her view (as far as it being flame-worthy or anything), but that I flamed her for not being more open.

I dont agree with her view and debated it in the opinions thread, but her and I not agreeing on something certainly isnt flame-worthy.  At least not IMO.

This may have been resolved while I was gone but remember the poster who was an AE who didn't want to post under her real name that was being abused in her relationship or was close to being abused.  I'm forgetting her screen name.  Do we ever know what happened to her?
