pirate, yeah, we're pretty well all done with things.  I made Derek hang the curtains in the baby's room last night.  I've got a few knitted things I need to felt/block, but whatever.

sept, it's at Barton and Ottawa, so a bit better, but still sort of ew.

Most of downtown qualifies as ew to me, Raynes. After living down there when I was in university, I rarely ever go back unless I HAVE to. Like next week when I have to go to the OHIP office. Great.

Nebb- I've been known to do that for weddings myself, and I think it's a great plan. Everybody knows that their hair and makeup can work spectacularly on a random Tuesday morning but will never in a million years cooperate with you the day you need it to look good for a social function. Why not eliminate some of that irritation and have someone force your hair into submission?

And then I grumbled something at H to stop nudging me, until he told me he didn't touch me. So now he's clearly excited that I'm growing a little MMA fighter/boxer. *insert eye roll*

Morning ladies! So glad it is Friday. The good news is that the sellers are willing to fix everything we asked them to (although there isn't really anything serious). The bad news is that we have to take Pumpkin back to the vet tomorrow. We are taking her to an internal specialist because they think she may have the start of kidney disease
On top of that, I have two friggin communions to attend this weekend and wish I could just relax. I cancelled my bloodwork with the loss specialist to take Pumpkin and rescheduled myself for next week.

Sept, I hope all is well with the lil guy. My fingers are crossed for you, Blue and Raynes.
Raynes, your ticker reminds me of "Dirty Dancing" when Baby says, "I carried a watermelon." Good luck to you ladies!

Good morning! Random question - anyone have a rec for a swim suit?  All I have are string bikinis, and I've gained 20 pounds since I bought the last one.  I put it on yesterday and lets just say it was not a pretty sight.  We are going to FL in 2 weeks to visit the ILs so I want a new suit that I don't feel like crap in.  I'm thinking either a one piece or a tankini.

I'm a fan of VS bathing suits.  In my experience they've held up really well.  They have some styles like that you can check out, but they can be somewhat costly.

morning everyone. SO glad it's friday. I've had such a weird, off week. H and I haven't been sleeping well (no idea why) so we've been waking up late and getting our days started badly. We've also eaten like crap all week (maybe why we are sleeping badly?) and because I am in a walking cast, I haven't worked out. I keep pledging to get my sh*t together but this week has sucked.I think I need to use this weekend to refocus.

I've been up since 1:30.  goddamn insomnia.  But everyone I've been around today has been friendly and cheerful, so I'm not going to be a grump.  Plus, my floor decided to celebrate today, so we're having cake and queso & chips and empanadas.

Thanks, I will check out VS.  But I can't go with H because he always wants me to buy everything in the store, haha.  And I'm too nervous/don't think I have enough time to order anyone online. I usually buy cheap suits from Target but I was browsing yesterday and nothing looked appealing at all. Maybe it's time to start investing in nicer suits and then I won't feel like crap.

LP I've had luck at Everything But Water (clicky) there's one at Southpoint in Durham and I think there's one up at Triangle Town Center.  I think their suits are pretty well made and wear well.  They don't get randomly misshapen after a few wearings.

Brandi, nope, no fertility treatments. Michael and I both have a lot of twins in our families and my family even has 2 sets of triplets, and I was 30 when I got pregnant so my old lady bits have a slightly higher chance of releasing more eggs. I'm still saying it's just one

I love the VS styles, but the prices are freaking ridiculous. One suit I like, the top alone is $45.
I'm thinking about ordering from Venus. I'm a little nervous about ordering online, but they are way cheaper and they hold up well. Or I'll just go with my old suits. I don't really need a new one, I just think I do.

the prices are high but the quality is great. I have ones from there that are nearly 4 or more years old and they still look perfect. They hold  up really well.
