He poped the question in the middle of Columbus Circle, and took me to Per Se for dinner. Apparently he got the ring a month before he purposed, but Per Se was not available until that day.

We just got engaged two days ago - October 26. We had looked at rings together before, and I gave him several ideas. The only thing I really knew for sure was that I didn't want a white metal. It's beautiful, but to me, it's something that everyone else has, and I wanted something a little more unique. I'd mentioned I LOVE rose gold, but we were discovering it was hard to find in bridal jewelry. He found a jeweler that carried it though, and could custom design almost anything!

So here is my 1.02 ct Asscher cut set in beautiful rose gold!! I ADORE my ring, almost as much as I adore my fiance!

Oh, and he proposed by cutting the bottom out of a pumpkin, cleaning it out, then putting the ring in inside and gluing the bottom back on. So when we started carving our pumpkins, I found the ring inside!

Got engaged exactly one month ago!  My ring is 7/8 ctw. I love how sapphires and diamonds go together. I actually picked this ring out two years ago and he picked the right one! Absolutely love it!

Been engaged for a little while. My fiance totally surprised me! Actually, we went to a jewelers to look at rings, and there I was showing him ones that I liked, little did I know he'd already bought the ring from that very store!!! Needless to say, lol, the one he had was the one I would have chosen match made in heaven!

He chose the ring because it's simple, yet stood for something. I really enjoy hugs and he said he picked this one out because of the way the setting hugs the stone

I got engaged in August at the Renaissance Faire! My fiancé had the jeweler replace the diamonds in the flowers with garnets (my birthstone!). It's an estate piece, so I need to contact the company to see if they can give me a date estimate.

My beautiful pearl engagement ring. He proposed in Hawaii (were hes stationed) after not seeing each other since he left in May. We went to a park by the beach and there was a HUGE tree with vines that came down and tied into a swing, he pushed me on the swing and then got down on one knee and asked me to do him the honor of becoming his wife!

I got engaged on July 13 and will be married on October 19 next year.

Here is my beautiful ring! It's so sparkly from each view and I'm always staring at it. Plus I get compliments on it all the time, at the bank, grocery store, soccer games, etc.

Engaged on november 2, 2013 after dating 8.5 years! The ring is not what I imagined, but I love it and I love that my FI picked it out himself!! The middle is a half carat, the two sides are quarter carats each and the pave band make it 1.25 carats total

I just got engaged on Tuesday (11/12/13). FI did such a good job with my ring! His mom gave him the center diamond and then FI had the band custom made. I absolutely love this ring! I keep looking at it... it is going to be hard to concentrate in my classes for the next few weeks!


FI and I are both such book nerds, so it only seem appropriate to put this on FB to announce our engagement. (It is actually a Star Wars book) :-)

It's a 3.3 Carat Rainbow Moonstone and it catches the light in such a way that it always looks like it's glowing.  Even in dim light it looks super bright!

My fiance proposed at the summit of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park in Maine on 7/3/2013. We both love to travel and our trip to Maine was our annual vacation, one we had been planning for a couple years. He told me he had a surprise for me and gave me a photo book with seven years of photos and mementos from all of the trips we've been on. One of the final pages says "It seems like we've been everywhere together...well almost everywhere." The last page is pictures of the churches in our city. When I looked up, really confused, he was on one knee with the sunset behind him and this gorgeous, radiant cut diamond in his hand. Five months later and I still can't stop staring at it

Laurenm425, our rings look eerily similar mine just has all round diamonds and your three stones look princess cut. My then bf and I had gone to a bunch of stores I picked one or two I liked from each one. He picked the prettiest one on his own!. I knew I wanted a three-stone ring and I wanted sparkles on the sides, too. So he did perfect!! Congrats!

I just got engaged this past Saturday (the 16th)! We knew we wanted to get married within the next year or two, but I had no idea he was going to propose that day! The only guidance I had given him on the ring was that I preferred the main stone be something other than a diamond (I like to be a bit different) - he couldn't have done a better job!

He proposed to me in Toronto - we are from Detroit but were there for a weekend away. We were at the lookout at the top of the CN tower...with all of the beautiful city lights shining for miles! It was very romantic and sweet!

No idea what the ctw or anything is, but here is my sapphire ring with diamond halo on my size 4.5 finger!
