I read it last night and there was nothing "vitriolic" or terrible in there. But some people sure seem to have gotten their feathers ruffled.

I read most of that thread and the only person saying anything negative was Amoro and she didnt' even say anything that bad.  I bet "they" just reported it enough to get it deleted so she could keep her identity secret.  What the flying flip is that all about?  Good grief.

Well, if that's the case - doesn't this have the opposite effect? By getting the thread deleted, "they" just made it even more obvious to the rest of us what this whole secret identity thing is all about.

Does anyone know exactly how many times a thread has to be reported before it gets autodeleted? Is that actually true? I mean, whoever wanted it deleted could've circumvented the reporting thing and just gone straight to KA. But, if it was autodeleted because it was reported a certain number of times, I'd like to guage just how bored one, or a few would have to be, to click report a bazillion times.

That's my point LC.  It would have been much more effective to just talk to me or Squirrly or Knot Annie that way if someone was being overly harsh or harassing, we could address it.  It has to be reported a bunch of times, I can't remember how many exactly.
