Ali, I think it depends soley on the seller & product. Ive had all kinds of different timelines with etsy. You can message the seller and ask before purchasing though.

Yeah, I guess I will message them. On my account page, it just says, "Status: Paid." I hate to try to rush them or be pushy and annoying, but I think it's been a long time without hearing anything at all.

• Ali, I ship my things wtihin two business days, but they aren't personalized. I'd check with the seller and see what kind of lead time s/he requires, then add on the shipping time. If you can't find it, send them a message.
Yeah, I know it's sad.  I do worry a lot that I'm never going to have kids, because I want them so badly, but talking to Mom makes me a million times more nervous about it, because she's so fixated on having grandchildren.

This makes me sad Bay.  I think you would be a great mom.  You are an amazingly strong women, keep your chin up and don't let you mom's "fixations" get into your head.

All this talk of children.  I am so anxious for my daughter to get home from college tonight.  And yes, Midge, just as Rachers said, it is just about you being in the house.  I love having my kids home for the weekend, sometimes we hang together, sometimes we do our own things but in the end it is great to know they are just down a flight of steps.
• Would anyone like a whippet? He's white with spots and does some tricks. Just pretend I didn't call him an asshole an hour ago.
What did he do this time Special?
Posted by crfb87
<div>He cannot make up his mind regarding his indoor/outdoor status. He has a really obnoxiously loud hound bark, and he keeps demanding to go outside. Once out there, he immediately lays on the mat next to the door, then howls to be let in.</div><div>
</div><div>His timing is perfect. He waits until I have settled back in my chair. He also stepped on the hem of my Snuggie and caused me to trip, ramming my face into the wall. </div><div>
</div><div>Plus, he and the cat have been bickering. They keep fighting over the multiple animal resting spots, the water bowl, and who gets to sit in front of the window.</div>
• Ski, thanks for the mother-of-grown/almost-grown-children-perspective. It's just impossible to talk to her about it and I'm doing my best to balance things. It's not easy.
In Response to Re: It's Friday! : That's my plan.  muah-ha ha. Currently FSIL gets away with murder just because. And I'm competitive, so i've got to best her in the getting-away-with-murder department.

Haha of course!

• No, it's not quite warm enough. We don't usually leave the door open, though, since most of our neighbors leave their cats outside. The cats are fascinated with our pond, so it's not unusual to find a random cat or two in the yard. I do not want them in the house. Our cat does not want them in the house either.
• Can't blame you there Special. Especially if they've been playing in the pond. Wet paws of strange cats walking around in your home, no thanks.
• Since the dog has been eerily quiet, I just looked out the window. He's sunning himself in the rock garden and is dead to the world. I think I'll leave him there.
• Special, my mini-dachshund LOVES sunning himself.  He'll stay out there forever if he finds a good spot.

Apparently the girl that replaced me as my boss's assistant isn't that stellar.  My boss wants me to start doing her expense reports again.  Whatever, I'll take the bonus.
