• Chrissy, do you work with him on projects or something? Or even if you don't, you could IM him on 'accident.' I realize how mature that is, but... ;)

[QUOTE]Why do you have to go to the rent's house, MuSu? Yeah, that is a good opener.

I'm doing it by choice. J & I live off of student loans each semester, which means our money is basically a lump sum that we have to allocate accordingly. We still have like a month before we will be making money (hopefully since I don't have a job yet) or getting any summer financial aid for our summer classes, and we are very seriously low on funds. I'm going to live at home for the last 2 weeks of school/finals, because my parents live 4 miles from my school and so I will save tons of money on gas (I live 30 miles away otherwise). I also won't have to spend money on groceries since my parents will obviously provide them. I also will probably have to borrow money to pay some bills too. We had a few unforeseen emergency expenses this semester that fucked us over. OH well.

• Musical, my cousin is married with 2 kids and in his third year of law school. His wife stays at home. I have NO CLUE how they manage financially. It's not any of my business, but it must be hard.

It is definitely tough with us both being in school and not working. I'm hoping that whatever job I get for the summer will continue part time next school year. I know both of us would have suffered a lot from working if we did though, this year. Thankfully my parents are understanding and have the means to loan me money for some bills before we get our stuff together. I admit that we weren't always smart about our choices, but at the same time, we really barely do anything for fun.

Either way, I just am not looking forward to sleeping on an air mattress in the living room :P

Haha. I lived at home senior year of college and actually didn't mind being around them again. I'm sure they will be annoyed that I will be taking up half the living room with an air mattress though.

• I know we have moved on from the shoe talk, but I didn't learn about taking shoes off in other houses until I lived in Germany when I was 18. I would do it from time to time if everyone else, like my parents did, at someones house. But my own house? Most friends houses? Shoes on. Now, I take shoes off EVERY TIME I ENTER a home. Habit. And I tend to offer people slipper of thick socks, which is a German thing.

• That's a pretty cool job, how did you get into that? Also, I didn't know deer could be kept as pets. I'm planning to have a pet pig someday though... one of the teacup ones. They get about as big as a cocker spaniel. FI is not that psyched, but whatever. It's happening.

• Slippers or thick socks. MUN1, the deer story reminds me, one of my students today told me about her new pet squirrel. I'm pretty sure you need a permit to have one, and I am mostly sure they don't. It was hurt in their driveway, so they kept it.

• H tried to bribe me with a pig to keep the house organized. We looked into getting a pot-bellied pig, but they still get kind of big (though not as big as a regular pig) and are more expensive to feed than we're comfortable with right now.

Teacup pigs are adorable, but they're expensive. There's also a bunch of folks scamming people into buying teacup pigs, when they're really getting a regular baby pig.

I bet since Willow will be a puppy they'll bond pretty quickly. Sasha enjoyed Kira as friend pretty soon after us getting K as a puppy. However, when we brought home Loki, she pretended he didn't exist. She's just now deciding he lives with us, 7 months later.

Yikes. I don't know what I'd do if I ended up with a giant pig in my house. I'll have to do a lot of research to make sure I'm buying from a reputable breeder.

• Beer people, can you recommend some new beer for me? I'm woefully ignorant on the subject, but I'd like to branch out.

I like the following (please don't laugh):

Yuengling Black & Tan
Leinenkugel Summer Shandy
Blue Moon
Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald
Great Lakes Burning River
Great Lakes Eliot Ness (my dad was good friends with a former owner--it was always around)
Killian's
Bell's Winter Ale
Sam Adams (all varieties)

I have repeatedly tried Guiness, and I do not care for it.
