[QUOTE]In Response to Re: FFF : I'll defer to Jess's response about this all: I have no doubt in my mind that living anywhere (be it here, or abroad) is without its downsides. Toledo, Ohio--by no means---is puppies and rainbows; if you've ever been here, I'm sure you'd know what I'm talking about. I highly doubt living in Italy is all sunshine and fun--either. An individual that assumed another individual's life was picture perfect based soley on their geographical location would be wrong, IMO. I don't think the point anyone was make is that Amoro or Lynda or anyone else needs to STFU because they live in "paradise," and therefore their life is without worry. It's just the constant "woe is me" because of said location.

I guess I don't understand the distinction.  Are you saying they just complain too much period?  Or they complain too much about where they live?  Or they shouldn't complain so much about where they live because they live in paradise?

I do wish they'd find something here and there to be positive about.  That's about all I've got.  They can complain just like the rest of us, but let's face it, I live in Canada and I find things to be happy and positive about.

  • Dani, for me, I understand Amoro and Lynda's dwindling love for where they live, it looses it's sparkle after a while and just becomes everyday life.

And complaining? We all do it here, nobody can deny that. But I hate when it's like, "I'm drunk so I'm going to complain." "I'm sick so just let me complain." "I'm ______ so let me complain."

If you have a complaint, share it, we all do. But don't try to justify it because your'e sick/drunk/having a bad day/etc. KWIM?

I think if I lived in a place like Lynda does, I'd feel bad coming on here and always saying "Morning, guys!  It's 85 here today, the water is amazing, and I get to go out on a boat!  Then I'm going to drink a tropical beverage on the beach.  Peace out!"

Oh wait, no I wouldn't.  I'd rub that shiit in.

Also Jess, I totally get what you were saying.  I was more asking for clarification on the people who were saying something about Amoro and Lynda and how they shouldn't complain because of where they live.  I realize I'm totally paraphrasing, but I don't feel like digging through 15 pages of this post to find what started it all.  Anywho, yeah they are negative, especially Lynda, so I agree with that.

You need to be in Eastern Ontario or Quebec. Otherwise it's just plain gross. It's gotta be the good crispy fat chips, with salty gravy and it has to be cheese curd. If it's just regular cheese, it's barfworthy. The furthest West I've ever had acceptable poutine was in Kanata (outside Ottawa), everything West of that is nasty.

I just want to point out, and im not defending anyone, but amoro regularly posts pictures of fun outtings she goes on and talks about great little things that happen to her or that she sees in italy. It DOES happen, I think it just gets overlooked.
