[QUOTE]I also hate little dogs. Except dachshunds. If you need to carry a dog or push it in a cart, there's no point in having a dog. Have a baby instead. I also admit I'm not the world's best driver. But I'm at least 80% better at driving than my mother.

I love that you said this about dachshunds..... they aren't real little dogs since they happily kill badgers and possums.

I seriously dislike all other little yappy sterotypical little dogs.

Completely.  I think those people are d-bags.  This reminded me of an SNL skit with Jimmy Smits.  He was in a meeting with a bunch of non-Spanish speakers and they were pronouncing all of the words with a super Spanish accent--like, "AR-hen-tina," "COO-ba" and "Me-HI-co."

Well I don't think Internationale translates to Internation. And it's also just not the name - fifa.com is in English and refers to it as I wrote it.

And cool that you can speak Portuguese. I live in Chile, so I call it fútbol in Spanish, but in English, it's still soccer. Do I now have to explicitly add that I think it's pretentious when people use foreign words when their native language has a perectly good one? Say schadenfreude to your heart's content because we don't have a word in English for that concept, but it's cheese, not fromage, even though I took 5 years of French.

Ditto on the pretentious thing. They're called regional differences in language. Normal people use the language that surrounds them most often. If you're in Brazil (yes, I spelled it with a godawful Z!), fine, call it football, but I'm willing to bet you're sitting alone in a sports bar watching your precious futbol since no one wants to be around such a vainglorious bitch.

Anyways, now that I've given up on this skewed farce of a match; I played scrum-half for a couple of years. Decided I liked football better so I dropped rugby for left-side strike :)
