I hate being late to these types of post.

Ditto on the bird thoughts. I hated it when people would come in the store to buy an animal but didn't like one thing about it. Like, I would love having a conure but is there a way to make it stop chewing everything? Or, I love rats, but would a vet amputate the tail so I don't have to look at it?

Oh no I don't breed for show.  I'm sorry that wasn't my argument.  I'm saying actual healthiest dogs with the best temperament regardless of show standards.  My dogs compete in athletic trials (such as hunting, agility, etc.) not the show arena.  Most show dogs are not the healthiest nor have the best temperament (i.e. the only dachshund that has ever snapped at me was a show dog).  There are private breeders who work to make the breed healthier (for dachshunds never breeding double dapples, never breeding any that have retinal detachment, etc.).

I need to lighten the soccer moood really quick while I'm thinking about it:  Jocelyn told me over the weekend that she's going to play on a pink soccer team and she'll show them her big big soccer kick.  She also commentates on the World Cup with things like, "what a play" "great pass" and "GOOoooaaaaalllll".   She's pretty awesome.

- I detest Obama and Pelosi for a multiple reasons
-The healthcare reform is just a big bill of problems.  If you would like details I'm happy to provide them
- I love my guns
- I love Twilight
-I'm annoyed when people assume because you're a dog breeder that you are against shelter dogs and/or adopting dogs.  I have three rescues (obviously not in my breeding program)
- I hate when people purchase/adopt animals they know nothing about and then complain when the animal doesn't act "correctly"
- I hate when people use children as a status symbol and don't actually want to raise them
- I think its strange when people put those high heeled baby shoes on 1 year olds.

I also hate it when people use their children as status symbols and don't raise them.  Its not fair to the kids, its not fair to their nanny or whoever you have raising them, and its not helpful to the world.  Just because having those photos or cute kids at the office party will help you in some way does not mean you should have them.  Money is not the only thing kids need.

I was unaware that asking somebody to put their glasses in the sink, their clothes in the hamper, and their cans in the recycling was asking them to do housework.  I always thought it was just asking them to clean up after themselves. Silly me.
