Good Evening

Re: Good Evening

  • I love to have people over for games and make a bunch of food and stuff. I guess I'm more into the social aspect of football than the game itself.

  • edie: that makes sense....I always seem to ruin my clothes at work, I think that is why I dress like a bum.  I guess I should suck it up and start wearing an apron or something.

  • I put pajama pants and a built in cami tank on just about immediately when I get home every day.  Sometimes I even make the dog wait to go out until I've had a chance to change.

KK - your daughter is adorable.

Wally - there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with being a cheesehead.
  • Quick question - is there a way to see which users you've blocked? I was using TK mobile earlier and a little thing showed up between posts saying "this users post has been hidden because  you blocked them" or something like that. But I have no recollection of blocking someone.

</div><div>At least the Packers are decent. Vikings = embarrassing. Maybe since I have to borrow a team anyway, I should become a Packer fan. Hmmmm. </div>

  • WOW.  So, someone opened fired at a Sikh temple near where my parents live.  Someone I went to high school with has this as their FB status:
My heart goes out to all the people that were affected by the oak creek Sikh shooting.... But thank god it wasn't the state fair cuz it definitely would have been worse!!!!

One, wtf is that supposed to mean?  And two?  Regardless of wtf that means, how inappropriate.  I'm floored.

<div>Whaat? Like cheese? Or foam? Or sweaty head? Or beer? Please elaborate. </div>

  • Good Lord, J. What a weird thing for someone to say. Like it's okay for some people to be shot? I don't even get what she meant by that.
  • I used to love Sunday football....we would go to H's friend's house, and he would cook for us, we would joke around, play catch in between games, etc.

But for the past few years, H works Sundays.  :(

Smells like foam, sort of.  But...I don't know.  Gross.  And the head hole is HUGE.  They only fit people with huge domes, apparently.

Leisel, I THINK she meant because there were more people at the State Fair?  And last year, at our State Fair, we had a lot of beatings and jumpings and so people were a little freaked out about this year.  BUT STILL.

I just burned my finger on the damn coil on the inside top of our toaster oven...it hurts like a mofo!

I am tired of everyone posting rainbow pictures on FB.  I get it, it rained, you see colors, ooooh!
  • Weird on the Cheeshead Hat. Re. the small and the large head hole.

  • J - Wow, what a terrible thing to say.

That's terrible about the shooting thought.

  • Wtf J? People suck. I had a great afternoon watching the pups play and swim at my parents. My mom had a few friends over that I really enjoyed talking to. I think I relate better to older women anyway because I seem to enjoy myself more. I was born 40, as my mom likes to tell me.

Yes, 7, one of them being the shooter.

Apparently, they were there preparing a meal for a "community dinner" they have on Sundays for people.  Ugh.

  • I'm not a big sports person. I'll watch Gator games because that's my team (especially Gators versus TN since I was born on that gameday), but everything else I'm just 'meh' to. And I'm the worst person to bring to a sports game. I don't cheer or anything, just watch.

We're just now sitting down to dinner, jambalaya. H is playing a video game so I'm on TK.
