• Oh boy, I leave for lunch and come back to find that someone got butthurt because someone else called someone else a brat, even though she still fully agrees with everything else they said?

Hey kiki, can you pass me some of that tequila?

They're freakin hypocrites here. We sell beer. That's why the building is here.
And they get all WAH WAH when you come back from lunch with some droopy eyes and smelling of their product.

  • I've never understood the need for random people to come on this forum and defend other random people - even though they know the OP is in the wrong and agree fundamentally with everything that was said. It boggles my brain.
In Response to Re: Jeans............ : I'm sorry. I didn't clarify. If it is specified in the invitation that she would like more of a formal wedding, then jeans are certainly inappropriate. If you would like a less formal wedding, then more power to you. I have seen beautiful weddings, both formal and informal. (Attended one that the reception was in at a gun range lodge. Jeans are totally appropriate and were worn.) I just don't think that OP's wedding gives off any clues to be such an informal wedding, which would make jeans inappropriate. I wasn't trying to be close-minded, I was just stating what I think OP was thinking. And no, I wasn't talking about taco bell.

Right, but again, the only way to "specify" is with a formal invitation. Some people don't pick up on that. Which is their faux pas. Nothing you can do about it.

  • Mery I'm literally roflmfao right now. That's awesome!

I'd like to add 1 word to the first list - "facetious." That came up this weekend when we might have been drunk, and it didn't go well.
In my opinion, you should have told your brother NO to the new girlfriend!! It is YOUR big day and if he can't respect that and show up without her, then that is just flat out ridiculous!! You wouldnt even have this problem if your brother wasn't acting like a big baby and saying "well i wont come unless V is there" BOOHOO! It's not about him, like AT ALL. Tell him that V cannot come because you do not want drama at your wedding. Also, like PP have said, those babies should not be seeing their mom & dad fighting like that!! You dont want the cops to show up at your wedding....
    Posted by mrsalbee
I agree. It would be better for your brother to NOT come than to have drama with his girlfriend at the wedding in front of his two little girls. Remember, even if your brother "blames" you for his "not being able to come" because you "didn't let V come"... not coming is HIS decision. His. Let him know you love him and he is welcome but V will have to meet the fam another day.
