Hi all!  How's it going?  I'm streaming Bones on my computer and web surfing.  I had chinese for dinner and cookies for dessert.  

I'm going to make turkey soup this weekend and decorate for Christmas.  Anyone else have exciting weekend plans?

Hi. It's an exciting night here. H is asleep and E is screaming. He has 2 teeth that are starting to show. I hope they pop through soon so that he can get some relief from all of this pain.

I'm cooking red beans and rice and hoping it tastes horrible so we can go get a burger. I'm a terrible wife lol.

Orajel doesn't even begin to touch it. I've tried everything except for amber teething necklaces and nothing has helped.

Loopy, I really want to decorate for Christmas, but I honestly dont know where to start. I'm a horrible decorator - for holidays and every day life =( Plus, we're going to FL for christmas so I'm not sure if it's even worth it...=(

Oops I started a thread too but I deleted mine when I saw yours. This is what I said over there:

FI is home and we're catching up on this week's TV shows that we weren't able to watch together live, since we both have been working late but him especially.

I think I've recovered from my vom-tastic day (CN: my student got sick in my classroom and I had to clean it up. A very queasy experience).

For some reason I am not feeling very hungry. Haven't had any dinner but I have had ice cream. Apparently my body thinks I've been fed adequately.

The only gifts I have purchased is for my SS. I think I will be working overtime Monday night and I am debating using my over-comp time to duck out of work early sometime next week and go shopping.

I am not good at this christmas stuff.

Good evening.  H came home and promptly fell asleep for two hours, so I ate dinner by myself and now I'm knitting and watching TV.  The cat keeps coming up for cuddles, which is pretty great.

Weekend plans include shopping tomorrow night, going to Newport, RI with some friends and H on Saturday to tour the mansions and enjoy the decorations, and getting a Christmas tree on Sunday.  I don't know if we'll be able to decorate it, because H is working 4 PM - 12 AM, but if not Sunday, then Monday night.

My hoo-ha survived laser hair removal so I rewarded myself with buying some Graeters ice cream on the way home.

We even tried a mesh feeder with frozen cubes of baby food and that doesn't help. I'm about to run out and grab blackberry brandy like my grandma said to do.

I'm making ranch pork chops for dinner tonight. I'm mildly excited about it but I'm just pooped and want to sleep. 

I'm watching this show on MTV called friendzone. I think it's new..and it's lame but I just can't turn away.

Start with a tree LDY.  Even if it's a small table top one.  Or snowflakes in windows (cling ones) or something if you want to avoid the christian holiday symbolism stuff.

I had diet fail today. I did so good all day until dinner. Blah.

I am looking for good games for Wii and Xbox360. Our house was robbed a few months ago and insurance is going to replace the games with whatever. So anyone have any suggestions?

We need to get our tree too. This weekend already looks super packed so probably won't be until next weekend. We have to go physically cut it down ourselves otherwise I would just go by myself... but I need J's help haha.

I'm slightly annoyed at the moment.  A few years ago I borrowed a Christmas CD from someone at work to upload to my Itunes.  About a year later I ended up losing some of my music when I busted the connection cable to my external hard drive (music files weren't the only things I lost, but I digress).  At the time I no longer worked at the company so I couldn't go back and ask the person to borrow it again.  So I made a wish list on Itunes of the stuff I lost so I could go get it when I had $$.  Tonight I purchased the album (it just finished downloading), only to discover when I moved it to my Christmas list that it wasn't one of the albums I lost when I busted the cable.  UGGHH!!

I am so ahead of the Christmas decorating it is insane. Tree is up, Christmas village is up, lights outside are done... we are good to go.

This kid is going to give himself a coronary he is screaming so hard. He is also rubbing his eyes like he is tired but I bet it hurts too much to nap. I'm going to give him a couple more minutes before I take him out of the swing to see if the Tylenol will kick in or not.

I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th Buck. It was a 6th grader who got sick. She was totally fine for the entire class and when there was about 5 minutes left, we made eye contact all of a sudden and in that split second I could just tell from the panicked look on her face so I yelled "[Her name], run! Get to a trash can!" Too late, it was everywhere. Blech. Okay, I promise that's the end of that story. Haha, I'm just glad I held it together when it was happening, I'm not the toughest when it comes to that stuff.

I've done a little Christmas shopping but still have a lot more to do. FI and I are going to try to do some this weekend.

Yay for ice cream dinner, Musu, I had a strawberry shortcake bar.

Honestly we dont even have anything Christiany to stay away from, Loopy lol. Our stocking hangers say Joy though...but whatever. I'm not anti-christians. This is what I'm worried about by saying I'm leaning towards Athiesm over being Agnostic...I dont want people to think I hate anyone! That's one of my main issues with some Christians!

strlz - Sucks! I have bought duplicate songs before and that made me mad enough. I'm glad they were only a dollar.

I love Christmas music though. I have the best CD from college that someone burned with all the best versions of the best songs. It has held up pretty well.
