I swear I'm not saying this just because I'm Eagles' #1 fan, but I think the whole conversation is silly, including the Eagles calling out (and yes, including the Eagles' call out of heb).   I do miss the days when shiiit like that was fair game.  I don't think pointing out someone's punctuation habits is any different than pointing out that someone sucks at grammar.  Does heb get a pass just because she's in a chat thread, and not a stupid newb asking a dumbass question?  Because she shouldn't.  And so there's me, being hypocritical because I'm contributing to the conversation I think is silly.

I don't take the ! thing as cutting me down, I just don't want to be the annoying Newb either. But using ! is my personality, and a trait. I have found if I use it people know my tone better whether it be e-mails, text, or online use. It is a bad habit, but who doesn't have one of those?

Yes he is, and yes, he is.  He's amazing.  I haven't been following as closely as I used to, but he used to have so many records.  He's like the Brett Favre of the NHL, and I hope he never goes off the deep end like Favre.

But the puctuation doesn't prevent us from reading her posts like grammar does. And I think it's super lame when people do call others out for poor grammar. I guess that's my point. It shouldn't matter who uses too many exclamation points or who misspells a word or two. Why waste the time to call it out in the first place?

I guess I should drink up since next weekend I'm not allowed. H and I are getting physicals for our life insurance. I'm not looking forward to peeing in a cup, I've never had to. Nor to having blood taken, I loathe needles.

Ok, well if you also think it's lame that people call people out for poor grammar, then I'm good, because at least you're consistent.  It's the picking and choosing that I hate.

Also?  75% of the time when someone gets ragged for poor grammar, their posts are still completely readable, and people are just being a-holes, just to be a-holes.  It's just that they can't own it and say "Hey, I'm being an a-hole, and by the way your grammar sucks!"   They need to have an "excuse."

But that's just my jaded-been-here-too-long-for-my-own-good opinion, so take it with a grain of salt.
