Gotcha. :) Ohio isn't so bad price-wise either.
Muni, do they make us get counseling?
Posted by ArynBaker
Nope.  As long as you're a man and a woman you just bring in your identification and the cash and you swear or affirm an oath- they hand you the application.  They don't even require a blood test.
• Amy, that explains all of my friends on FB with "NATO-cation" as their status.

I'm annoyed at work, too.  We're doing some construction, and it is so freaking loud!  It's like 20 feet from my cube.  Even my iPod isn't drowning it out.  Our admin went to the lab to get some ear plugs.  Maybe I'll go do that.

• Our license was $98. I think it dropped down to $65 or so if you did pre-marital counseling through a church or any other provider, but we didn't bother. Now that I think about it, I'm not even sure where our marriage license is.
• I'd probably do the shorter lunch but that is because I cannot imagine spending an hour at lunch. I don't even eat lunch.
image
• I would do the half hour lunch, Rach.  I take a half hour lunch so I can leave at 4:30 instead of 5 to try and beat some of the traffic.  Plus I hate getting up any earlier than I have to.  Do you normally go out for lunch or do you bring it with you?

• I would do the 30 minute lunch Rach. I theoretically have an hour for lunch but I always get bored after like 20 minutes.

• I'd do a half hour lunch Rachers but I hate mornings with a passion.
• I would also do the shorter lunch, unless you typically go out but I usually just eat at my desk.

I do too!

• Yeah I hate waking up earlier, I would value sleep over eating time. I only need like 15 min to eat the actual food that I bring over a lunch hour, when I'm working.

• Why do your hours change for the summer?  I wish they would do something like that here.  That would be awesome.

I get up at 4:30 if I am going to swim before work, but most days it is 5. But I love being able to work 5:30 -2:00. It leaves me so much time to do other things.

I was irritated b/c my sister was supposed  to take my mom into work this morning, but she went out and got shiitfaced then drove home (I swear to god I am going to beat her), and spent the night throwing up. So, I got a phone call at 4:00 this morning to drive her (my mom) to work. I let her just take my car since I was biking into work later. /rant

If by my way you mean canada, then yes.  But, she's on the opposite side of the country.  Montana's equivalent to New York State.  Sad banana.  I couldn't go this time.

But, we're all meeting up in Toronto again in August for Florence + the Machine

• Sparent, your sister sounds so responsible!  Did she seriously drive home drunk?  That is awful.  Glad you could help your mom out, though.
• Oh Sparent, I hope your sister can break that habit of drunk driving like right now. I have a close family member who's dealt with multiple DUIs and it's not fun.
• I know MP for a 29 yr old...

I tell her all the time "Hey, I live like 8 minutes away from you if you need a ride just let me know."  Her drunk driving really really pisses me off. I told my mom she needs to talk with her, b/c when I do nothing changes.

Oh, and she tried  to tell my mom she was throwing up b/c of something else not the alcohol.

• Mandy, I was just stalking your blog.  Have you tried putting spinach in your smoothies?  I've been doing that for a while now.  It took a little getting used to at first, but it's good.

• Yeah I am so excited!!  It can't come soon enough!  Fishy is with andrea_lea and Alix,  At Alix's house.  And they're meeting up with an old school knottie named Frankie.  Whom I have met and is absolutely awesome.  I am beyond jealous.

No, I have not, I eat a lot of spinach in my everyday meals, so I don't really need to add MORE to my diet.  I mean, I can.  But, I don't.

• YAY SPINACH SMOOTHIES!!  I keep trying to get Matt to try it, but he's wary.

Spa, your sister drunk driving almost makes me sick to my stomach.  How does she not know that it is incredibly dangerous?  She's risking other people's lives out there!!
• Man that fishy sure gets around! I think I'm seeing her in 2 weeks at a Twins game. But she'll have way better seats than me, of course.
image
• MP, H won't try them either.  I think I've gotten him to take one sip, but it was on a week when I was doing kind of a weird combination and he made a face.

• I'd much rather have a half-hour lunch and get to leave early. We technically have an hour but I never need that much time unless I have to run an errand. Getting off at 2:30 rocks.
• Do you guys punch in and out for lunch or is it just an honor system?
