Re: TGIATW

  • MuSu, ours is an honor system for hours worked and everything.

Adamar, I keep telling him that it tastes delicious, but he is skeptical.  Oh men!
  • I love spinach smoothies! I can't taste the difference so I add spinach  to every smoothie I make. FI says he can taste a difference but he drinks them just the same.
  • I'm chained to the time clock.  It's annoying.

  • My job last summer had the punch time clock and it was the only job I've ever had that for. It was definitely annoying.

  • Random Rant: I'm taking a summer course and we have 3 quizzes a week. Todays 'quiz' is 42 questions. Dear professor, that is no longer a quiz, that is an exam.
  • Help me shop?

    Which shoes should I buy?

    THESE in coral or yellow

    THESE in blue or orange

    (links open in new windows)

I spend 95% of my time in the summer in jersey dresses- most of which are blue or black and one hot pink and one orange.
  • Yea Aryn 42 questions is not a quiz. 15 questions? Yes. 42? no.

Adamar I would hate being tied to a time clock.

MP me too, me too. She is going to fuuck up someone's life. And I want her to stop before she does.

<div>I like the first ones in coral and the second ones in blue. But really, I love both of them in all the colors. </div>

Me too.  I want them both in all of the colors that they come in, really.  But that's not super practical.
  • I love the second ones, in the blue

  • Muni, I love the first pair in the yellow/gray combo. Really really nice. Though the coral is cool too...

I can't get the second pair to open. Bah on sites that redirect internationals.

  • I like the first pair in coral, but would love to get them for myself in all the colors.  The tan is super cute too.

The first pair is 6in heel with 2.5in platform.  That is TALL!

Haha, this.  And if I tried, I'd probably break my neck.

I would break my neck too. I'm such a clutz.

  • I'd be about 5'10" in the first pair. I could deal with that...

    PS MuSu, you are *tall*.
  • Lissa -- haha yep! 5'11. I feel unbelievably awkward when I walk next to people that are like 5'6 or shorter. I feel like I look ridiculous.

Yeah, I'm 5'5" on a good day. With sneakers on. I love high heels. Plus FI is 6'1" so it doesn't matter if my heels are 4-5" (because it would be weird to me if I was taller than him).

The second one doesn't open for me either. I'd break my neck in the first ones but I love how they look!
  • Afternoon folks!

I'm kinda bummed.  I interviewed for a job 2 weeks ago yesterday and they told me they'd call and let me know either way even though the employment system automatically sends you a rejection email once the job has been closed.  I logged into the system a few minutes ago just to see what I still had open and discovered that it had been closed already.  I'm guessing the rejection email went to my spam, which I just emptied yesterday.

  • We have a timeclock on the network system we use. WE have to clock into different production reasons for everything. Break, lunch, each specific site. I hate this freaking clock.
  • Sesh, that's really annoying. I've never worked a job where I've had to clock in, and for that I'm really grateful.

(Actually, thinking back, we may have had to "clock in/out" at the bakery. But it was usually just a "write down your hours" sort of thing... not quite the same.)
