I am only 5'4" but I guess I attract shorties cause I have a bunch of friends that are right around 5' and I love wearing heels so I always felt so tall.

In high school, my best friend and I had a 13" height difference. She's 4'9" and I'm 5'10". I have never slouched. My 6' mother flipped out if she saw me slouching (so did my piano teacher) and would yell, "A lady never slouches! Be proud of yourself!"

See, in high level slouching you keep your spine straight and the slouch comes in at the legs.  That way it doesn't LOOK like you're slouching.  It's an art form, really.

I've been working on my presentation all day. I have all my notes, I've watched all the videos I was supposed to, and now I'm putting together my PowerPoint. I desperately need a break before I start to cry.

Do you know how much attention I got in junior high and high school? Most of the boys were eye-level with my early developed boobies. I had many friends, and I never had to carry my bass clarinet case.

Thanks guys. I honestly knew I was way shorter than my friends. All the team pictures looked like that too (only one teammate was a BM though) I just have all tall friends. Very few are short, and almost none are my height or shorter. It never occurred to me until now, though. Especially how obvious it is.
