I love mowing the lawn. Here's a little redneck coming out in me: My dad just got a no-turn radius mower and I'm PUMPED to try it. I hear it's awesome, but I will totally munch the yard the first time I try it out.

I've never mowed a lawn either, and I doubt I ever will. Our yard is pretty big and my dad has always used a tractor, no way was he going to let one of us try that out. As for when FI and I buy a house, I'm pretty sure mowing grass will be delegated to him. He used to work for a landscaping company and he actually likes to do it.

Erin, I love them too! They are one of the few rodents I don't let Tory chase down, hah. 

Special, I never mowed the lawn either. I tried once after my dad asked in HS and I did such a terrible job that he gave up and never asked me again. There is no way J would ever ask me to do it because he knows how bad I am with mechanical things, lol.

Special we had to mow the lawn every week when we were kids. We had to split the yard up. I hated doing it back then, but don't mind so much now.

I never actually mowed the grass but my dad did let me drive around on the mower with the blades all the way up. It was pretty fun.

My parents have several acres of just grass. You bet your ass I mowed. I mowed, and mowed, and mowed. It takes about 8 hours to mow my parent's lawn. 

I hear with the new mower it only takes 6. WAHOO!

My parents had (and still have) a push mower. Their yard is big enough for a riding mower, but they have a bunch of trees.

Right now, they're paying the neighbor kid to do it, and it looks freaking awful.

Haha, I bet, Erin! I am studying for my Crim Pro final tomorrow, which is basically learning all the rules that police can't fuuck up in order to get a person arrested/searched/in jail. haha.

I used to mow the grass at my parents.  My brother and I had to split it, so we would always rush to go first to get the side of the yard with the pool since it took half the time.

I don't hate doing it, but I don't enjoy it.  It takes me about an hour and a half to cut both front and back yards.  It is definitely going to be H's job, but unless I want to live in a jungle all summer I have no choice.  And I'm not paying someone to come do something I can easily do.

Hi Eagles, how did the gel manicure turn out? Are they supposed to be hard on your nails? I'm tired of painting my nails 2 or 3 times a week, but I also don't want to do anything to ruin my nails.

ETA - I had to google who Mumia was, but I should have known that. That's still a really big deal in Philly.

Eagles I love the gel manicures. I don't typically get my nails painted since I will chip it within the first 10 minutes. The gel helps people like me who forget that they just had their nails done.

So all the constitutional stuff goes through them first to make the decision. Unless they are getting the warrant, in which case the judge is involved. </div>

I'm watching the SVU vigilante episode. Are the writers sick of Benson, Munch and Fin? They're barely in the episodes anymore.

I love staring at Danny Pino, but I love Munch and Fin. Munch is my favorite. (Disclaimer: I do not want to bone Munch.)

I'm going to head to to the drug store real quick to pick up some melatonin so I can maybe go to sleep at a reasonable hour tonight. The Dairy Queen is in the same shopping center, so um, we'll what happens with that.

Edit: I still like Ice T, I just...he's not as good as Munch. I want to marry Olivia Benson.

Ice-T was on an episode of NPR's Wait Wait. HILARIOUS.

I finally decided to check the mail, then realized the UPS man left a buttload of packages on our porch. H gets stuff for work shipped here, and my Amazon order arrived.

I got a foam roller for my back, and this thing is massive. The dog is afraid of it.
