[QUOTE]wrig, I am glad things are going well for you and your FI.  Do you know how soon you will move and start your new job?

    Thanks, Ski!<div>

  • Ha, that gif is awesome. I feel like that's my face every day at work.
  • Thanks girls.

I'm drinking wine. Why not right?.

I have to say having Sadie here makes me want another dog.  I like that I'm not Chef D's only source of entertainment.   I'm not quite sure when Sadie's owners are coming back.  Late tonight?  Tomorrow?  I'm not sure, I just know Chef D is going to go through withdraw when it happens.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • Zombie - yes DH was in Korea.  Apparently he is bringing home a some framed barbed wire from the DMZ.

  • Very cool, Wrig, I just stalked your planning bio and it looks like a blast!  What fun.

I am out.  Have a nice evening all.

Lynda, good luck on your second interview and safe travels to your H.

  • Redhead, I really respect you and your knowledge, but there's being a lawyer, and then there's turning threads into the Jack McCoy inquisition. I know it's a big part of you, but sometimes I feel that's all there is to you, and I know that can't be true. That's why I get sort of "wtf" when you get stuck on repeat.
  • I'm out for the night too. Goodnight, everyone!

  • Night, Ski!

Chrissy - I feel the same way. I lurk enough there that I know a little about the regs, but they don't know anything about me, which I guess is kind of creepy, lol.

Well when people start saying I'm ridiculous, I keep going. Which makes me feel bad because I basically called OP's FI an ass when explaining I get everyone's point.Sometimes I word things to not make the OP cry (which apparently people think I'm trying to get OP to cry).

    Wow, that's pretty crazy!

Angel, I think everyone goes through a phase where they feel creepy because they know a lot about posters from lurking.
  • I could never wait that long to eat. I'm a breakfast girl. If I do not eat within like, an hour of waking, I turn into major cranky bitch.

  • Well, Good night!  I'm out for the evening.
  • FI keeps sending me all these mushy text messages, lol. I can tell that somebody is desperate for a distraction from studying. He's definitely the more sappy one of us, especially in texts. Less so in person.

  • Holly!!  Your sig pic is gorgeous!!
  • Night Loopy!

Hi Holly. Ew, TK better not try to kick me out when I get married. I post where I want to post.

[QUOTE]Thanks, Wrigley.  That literally made me laugh out loud.  FI just looked at me like I was nuts.

Me too!  I was supposed to be paying attention to Mad Men but after I showed H he was cracking up too. That was great, Wrigley.

  • I miss my DVR. I'm gonna come home next week to a buttload of shows. At my parent's house its either baseball, ESPN, or COPS, that are playing on the main tv. lol. I love baseball, but everything else is boring.

  • Back in the day I would go all day without eating.  I can't know though.

Red- I actually got your point in that post.   I know it's not popular, but understood what you were saying.  Fact is unless you are doing some sort of IVF women do not have to do DNA test.  It's normally pretty clear who the mom is.  It's not the same for men.  It sucks, but it's the truth.

That said, I wish the OP had come to us prior to her FI getting the test.  Him taking the test shows a lot about HIM.  He should have written his family off before taking that test.   Once he took the test I think they have no other choice than to prove them wrong.  Anything else would suggest they were correct.

I love having a bunch of shows to watch, especially at work. I usually watch a lot of my shows on demand at work when the kids are napping or I'm letting them play independently.

  • According to United, DH is over New Mexico.  Scheduled to arrive 4 minutes early (which at this hour actually means something).  But there is weather over TX.  So we will see if it's adjusted.

Technology.  Got to love it.  Flight tracking was not around back when I was younger.

I didn't know it was available now! That's pretty cool.

  • Question: If you went to your prom, did you have to pass an alcohol test to get in? I was reading the prom info on a sheet I found on our kitchen table. Apparently EVERY student gets a sobriety test before being allowed entrance. I think this is hilarious and sad. We didn't have to do that back when I went to prom (and I went to the same HS as my brothers do).

  • Lynda, that's great news about your interview.  Good luck!

  • No.  Not at all.   I would not be surprised if our antics are the reason for the measures that are now taken.

  • Musu - We didn't have to do that, but my high school does do it now. I think it started a year or two after I graduated, so my sisters had to do it, for every dance, which amused me. At my senior prom, there were kids doing lines of coke off the table.... yeah.
