Frankly, thinking it over last night, the concept of babes in arms on planes makes me twitchy. I don't want to be in a position where I'd have to hold a kid under age 2 for several hours in a seat on a plane that's 17 inches wide. Nor would I want to carry around a 25 pound toddler everywhere, so there's that. I often reconsider this kid thing.

Actually, you build up to carrying around 25 lbs. It's not as bad as I thought it would be. Granted, I only carry him for about a minute before I make him walk the rest of the way, so there's that.

I thought it was Colin Firth's best acting job ever. Well-deserved Oscar nomination. Too bad no one saw the movie and therefore no one voted for him!

At first I thought it was a different role for him, but it really wasn't - he was still playing a sensitive, somewhat conservative British dude. The role was just so full of subtle emotion in this film.

And I can't believe that was Tom Ford's first movie ever. Dude knows how to make things look very visually appealing, though.

My only complaint is that it was perhaps a touch slow (though I understand why). I wasn't a huge fan of Julianne Moore, but I get her character. And the drowning motif was a bit overdone.

Also, I tried to distract Vally, I think she even joined goodreads, even though she didn't friend me on there.  Which should mean that she's found MORE than enough books to read without reading twilight, but no.  She's reading it.

Now, I know how you feel about Edward and the vampires.  How do you feel about Pirates?  Because I'll be honest, if someone wrote Pirates of the Caribbean into a series of books, I'd be reading that.  I'm a  Jack Sparrow addict.

I'm only having one. If I obtain a second child, it will not be through pregnancy. It will be through adoption or a step-kid.
