    She wasn't asking for advice/input though. I don't get why you would tell her she looks heavier in one photo compared to another.  There is literally no purpose to it other than potentially hurting her feelings.

I picked out a lovely taupe because the woman told me that the lighter colors are easier for beginners (for some reason). I would have chosen something dark so you don't notice all the times I mess up : p</div><div>
    </div><div>They have two more classes for "beginners" - socks and a felted purse. They also have the building blocks thing which I might do if I feel comfortable enough. </div>

    I wonder what Eagle looks like as well. I wonder if all you thin ladies struggle with your weight (exercise and deprive yourself constantly) or if you are all just naturally thin. However, I wonder that about all thin women, not just on here. And yeah, angelstar is right, I'm too embarrassed about how I look to have any pics on here. I am, however, fairly pleased with how my pro wedding pics turned out, so I may AW them when I finally get the disk.

    I will always find something nice to say about people's wedding pictures if I'm around when they're AWing them.  Even if I hated their guts and thought they were an ugly hoar, I would at least...like their pew bows or something.  

    The DIY board is the most interesting for people JUST LOVING EVERYTHING that I find hideous.  So much fresh crafty hell that people just gush over.

    </div><div>I highly recommend felting. It's much more beginner-friendly than socks, though socks are pretty easy. Felting hides a multitude of sins.</div><div>

    Lizzie - no go on NOLA. My mom and sister and dogs all went, but I stayed home. I was sad, but it's nice to have the house to myself for a while.
