  • I flame Sazatronic...this was on WP, but the link was posted here. She went BSC and refused to answer direct questions about why she thinks it's ok to replace BMs or to "put your mom in her place" if she's unhappy about her MOB outfit. Then came back yesterday and gave seeminly normal advice as if nothing had ever happened.

And.  You'll never be AFSB, no matter how hard you try.  It's actually kind of pathetic.

I flame this.  I've seen ONE person say "I wish certain folks wouldn't come over here."  And that person (Nebb, in case you were wondering if I was talking about you ;-) ) got called out for it.  I don't see anyone else trying to make it some sort of supersecret off-board.

I also don't see anyone trying to recreate AFSB.  What, exactly, is pathetic?  I don't get this at all.

Well, she claimed she was Irish, but her fiance is from North Carolina and she lives there. I'd bet $100 that by Irish she means her great-great-grandmother was from Ireland. So... she's really American.

Thankfully a bunch of people from the south came in and said, "dear god, please stop making us look bad."

Except one girl who usually seems normal and was sort of defending the OP. "Well, the flag doesn't COMPLETELY symbolize racism..." Yes, actually, that IS what it symbolizes.

I agree.  As far as I've seen, Nebb is the only one who said she wishes certain E regs wouldn't post on SB.  The rest of the SB girls have always been like "come on over, post if you want! " kind of mentality.  Well except for Roxy who said she would judge anyone who first complained about SB but then started posting there.  That was kind of sucky too.  People can change their minds about a situation.

ETA: I also don't think the E girls that left here to start posting there ever thought or intended to "replace" or be like the AFSB girls.  Different people, totally different board and vibe, and I think they've known that all along.

Come now, this makes no sense. Any group of people that spends any amount of time together will eventually have inside jokes. For instance, ever been on a road trip? My sister and I were on one once, and now we make each other laugh whenever we say "I'm itchy again," but that does not mean that my sister and I wish we were AFSB. AFSB did not invent the inside joke.

Also, I just post on both because there are people I like on both. I don't see why this is controversial.

Gah, I know. I should have said, "Well, the BRITISH flag was used to oppress the entire Indian subcontinent, so there."

It takes a special person to not get how a nation created specifically to preserve racial-based slavery differs from every other nation on earth where both good and bad things have happened in the name of said country.

Sure their opinion can be change but when it hasn't and they're doing it to the stir the pot thats what gets me.
  • I think there's only one way to settle this E vs. SB thing.
Members of E choose one representative. Members of SB choose on representative. Your choices will go head to head in a gladiator style fight to the death, with those giant q-tip style deals. The first one to fall into the snake pit loses. The winner will take the other board as the spoils of war.
