It's Evening Time!

Re: It's Evening Time!

  • I'm trying to convince said psychologist that it will be perfectly fine to bring in her baby to work once the kids are gone in June. I think she would be maybe 2 weeks old at the most. I realize this is unlikely to happen but I can still hope.

Poke - maybe you and baby Fezz will share a day.

    It is very possible Petal!

Eagles - is Club a dog or a cat - or another kind of animal?

ETA - Nevermind, I just read your post haha. What kind of dog though?
  • That's adorable - pit bulls have such a bad reputation, and that makes me sad.
  • Does he destroy his toys when he gets them?

Growing up we had Boston Terriers and we could never buy the squeaky plastic toys because they would last less than 5 minutes. Then we would have to go and pick up a hundred pieces of little plastic toy all over the place because she would try to eat it. She enjoyed her 5 minutes though.

  • That's the way my boxer is Petal. We have to either buy really expensive toys that will last a little while, or cheap plushies from the dollar tree that we don't mind being destroyed in five minutes haha.
  • Oh yah, the plushies filled with cotton. Little cotton pieces all over the place. It was always entertaining.

  • Yeah, that's always fun to clean up. But, she loves it - so we do it.
  • My little yorkie could tear the squeaker out of a toy ball in 90 seconds flat.  It was terribly entertaining to watch her "kill the rat" They might be domesticated by now, but lurking is a feral beast.
  • I just had to make a Taco Bell run. Damn commercials during the game. I want a Boston so bad. My cats would hate me.

  • Muni - it's slightly disturbing to me to watch my dogs tear into their little toys sometimes. When I was little my moms dachshund found some kittens. She killed one before I got to them and the other one died soon after because of it's wounds. I was like 9, and it was very sad.
  • Ours would also somehow manage to get sticks or hickory nuts in the house. Again, pieces everywhere.

Muni - As I was typing this I just thought to myself "I wonder when Muni is going on her honeymoon. She should have a ticker. I'm going to ask." Then I scroll back up and look at your sig. Yah, cool story about my lack of observation.

  • Fezz - did you bring me some? I enjoyed the doritos taco.
  • oh, wow, poke...that's really really sad.  that would definitely ruin the cuteness of dogs attacking stuffed animals forever for me.
  • Boston's are the best. They are smart and are easy to housebreak. They also seem to have bladders of steel if need be.

My parents have had 3 and they have all been great. They all would cuddle or sit next to you.

  • I still haven't tried the Doritos taco. I always just get regular soft tacos. I'm boring. I've heard it's really good though!

  • lol, Petal.  I cannot wait.  H has been researching like crazy.  It's fun to watch/benefit from that.
  • Yeah, most of the times I don't think about it - but when they grab the toy by the neck and shake it hard it reminds me. Poor kitties : (

BUT - I did just find this picture while I was looking at Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

  • Hi!  I'm back.  I see this thread didn't get very far while I was gone.  The dinner thing was okay.  I'm not impressed with Noodles & Co.  They should really call it "Mostly Noodles".  After I walked over to Coldstone.  I really wanted a brownie in some ice cream.  The girl who mixed - sucked.  She squashed everything (strawberries, raspberries and brownie) down with her spoon and then scooped the ice cream around it so it was all in the middle and put it in a cup.  Don't they train people you have to do a little chopping so the berries end up small pieces and mix it together a little more?  It still tasted great, but execution was lacking.  Apparently I'm nit-picky.

<div>It isn't as good as I thought it would be, but it's still yummy. I'd choose it over a regualr crunchy taco.</div>
  • Aww, poor Loopy. I'm glad your ice cream tasted good though.

  • FEZZ!!  How're you doing?  So good to see you!
  • I get picky about things like that too Loopy. I've never seen anyone squish the added stuff though. I find I have more problems when I get something like a Blizzard. All the topping is mixed in with the top but only plain ice cream at the bottom.

I also get irritated when people pack my groceries poorly.

  • Oh Loops that would have made me mad too. I hate when I get birthday cake remix and they don't mix everything well. I'm good! How are you feeling?!

  • I get irritated at stuff like that too.  I'm paying you to do something, do it right, dammnit!
  • I'm feeling good Fezz.  Thanks for asking.
  • Glad you're feeling good.  I can't believe you have a little prune already.  Are you guys going to find out the sex when the time comes or are you a team greener?

  • I started making Mac N Cheese for dinner while watching Criminal Minds. Now it's almost ready and Beauty and the Beast is on. So....I'm eating Mac N Cheese and watching Disney. I'm not 8, I swear.
  • That's cute Eagles. It just reminded me that the current Boston will hold her plush toy in her mouth and fall asleep with it stuffed in there.

I want a dog. My parents tell me if we get a fence and doggy door then she is mine. I don't think they mean it though.

    Alright, I'm out. Night ladies.
