Evening thread....tastes bad...don't eat it!

Well...since nothing else is really being posted...anyone around?

Tonight is the prom at the school I work at....people seemed shocked that I wasn't going...I am not sure why.  I live over an hour from work and it is Friday for pete's sake!

I wouldn't want to go to Prom either, Hockey. Once was enough for me. 

Although...there were snacks at my prom. The students table had pretty much all sweets while the "adult" table (in a different room) had all the GOOD stuff on it.

Aww, poor Eagles. And poor Mica, all she wanted was a good FFF and TK had to go all crazy.

What happened in FFF after I left. When I was there Seesaw was telling her story about growing up and LDY was getting slightly flamed for asking (what seemed like to some people) ignorant questions.

I think I told JK I can make gluten free cookies. That was my last post.

I can't help you much MK - it wasn't long after you left that TK acted up. I think people started reminicing over old Regs and trolls.

I'm sad I missed FFF. I like to catch up on it. I never even saw it, though I hopped on for a minute during planning.

Sorry you had a crappy commute MK! That's the worst. You're so ready to get home and then crap like that happens.

The way I see it...I can see pictures of the kids all dressed up without having to hang around work until 5 or 6pm when I get out at 2pm!

Hey guys. I was in the midst of being semi-flamed when I went to take my final and when I came out, it was all gone. Sad day. 

I am finally back in my regular house. It feels so good to know I get to sleep in my OWN bed tonight. AND! I'm done with 2L YEAR! AND?! J comes home tonight after 2 weeks of being gone!!

And I about died when I got to Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty because he's the spitting image of H. If H toned up a bit and grew his hair in to the swoop. I think it's the shorts. He wears those. I need to get him fit so I can have a real live Disney Prince. :-)

It feels very good to be home. I tanked on my last final, I think, but I was expecting it. That class was hard as poop.

So, I am pretty bummed.....I have been looking at houses online, thinking we might be able to start really looking by the start of next year.  Then it dawned on me that H is on his parents' mortgage, so I will have to purchase by myself, because I don't think he would be approved for a second mortgage.  With just my income, what I think I would be able to get for a mortgage would no way cover a house...H's income is definitely smaller than mine, so I was kind of shocked to see how much lower it goes without his income.

  It sort of pisses me off because what I pay in rent is more than what some of the mortgages would be, and I still manage to save a decent amount each month.

Musu - I don't think anyone flamed you for that - at least not while I was reading.

MK - Thanks. Those made me laugh. I don't know why - I just find it so hard to take those kinds of pictures seriously. Like, those "hunk" calendars, they all make me laugh so hard.

Howdy. I am really surprised and happy that half my shift is over already. I am wholly unsurprised this sushi from the mall is so mediocre, though. I'm not sure why I keep thinking it'll be better next time.

I wish we had taken more loans out. We decided to take out the minimal amount of loans and it has seriously bit us in the butt since we didn't offer ourselves any cushioning and our incomes definitely don't supply a cushion.

Yeah, Groom, I'm planning on it. I feel comfortable with it, knowing that if I tried to work during the last two years, I would've had to drop out of law school because i wouldn't have passed. So, whatever. Like you said, do what you have to do, and I know this is what is best for my schoolwork.
