I'm about to, but now my first-world-problem is getting myself off the couch. ;)

I love how our neighbors in our complex have decided to start moving furniture at 11:15 PM.  :::sarcasm:::

Hey hey. I haven't read any of this thread. It's too long. So I hope I'm not alone? Lol. Anyway Ben and I have been off work most of the week and I go back to work tomorrow. I think he needs to take Lucy to the vet. The lake was fun, but Ben was kind of cranky by the end of the trip because of stuff going on with his sister living at his folks place. Ugh. I'm watching Talking Dead right now.

Hey AATB - I am glad to hear you had a good time at the Lake.

    What is Talking Dead?

I hate my hormones right now. I am watching The Patriot and just started crying. I never cry at this movie.

My upstairs neighbor seems to enjoy getting ready for work at 6am in her stilettos. I wouldn't really care, except we have ceramic tiles in the bathrooms in our complex, so all of the click-clacking is amplified, and it wakes me pretty regularly.

I get throwing them on before you leave, but for like, 30 minutes ahead of time? Who loves heels that much?

Talking Dead is the show that comes on after Walking Dead. They are doing a preview of season three.

<div>Oooh okay. H watches the Walking Dead but I don't. I probably will one day, but honestly I am afraid of them. I think it's just because H loves Zombie movies/games. I've watched all the Resident Evil movies and watched him play all the games, plus other things like Shaun of the Dead. It's given me an irrational phobia. I have a zombie apocolypse dream at least once a month. </div>

I've never seen Walking Dead either. I think I may have seen a minute of it once when FI was flipping through channels, and it didn't look like my kind of thing.

Poke I'm not really into zombies. I don't watch the show because I'm all like YEAH zombies. It's just a really amazing story of human condition and survival and ethics and just everything. I didn't get into it until I was in the room once when Ben was watching. I can't not watch it. I can't believe I have to wait til October for the show to be back.

Jess - I usually have my heels on half hour before I leave. It takes me that long to find my keys in the mornings. They're usually some place like the fridge or in a drawer where they don't belong.

I also go down and throw hay and food to the horse in 4 or 5" spike heels in the mornings because I'm too lazy to change - I throw food and go to work. The landlord lets my horse out with hers.

Did anyone read I am Legend?
I realize it's more of a vampire thing but AATB's comment reminded me of his monologue at the end.

See, I guess I don't understand that. when I wear heels...even before I was Shamu, it was only for the time necessary.

I didn't see the movie for that reason.
I really liked the end but I don't want to discuss too much if anyone's thinking of reading it.

It's rare unless I'm doing farm chores in the evenings or riding the horse or running to see me not in heels. I just don't wear flats. My family is all very tall, I'm petite, and I wear heels. My casual shoes are about 2 3/4" and my dress shoes are 3 1/2" up to 6". I have a few pairs of Danskos I wear around the farm, but if I wear flats to work it's because I'm injured or are too sick to care.

I don't think I own any shoes other than Dansko Clogs and Tennies that are flat or shorter than 2 1/2" inches. LOL

The part with the dog was really sad.
The part at the end, he realized that he was a legend among the vampires as he is the last real person. They're the new population. So he would go around killing these people during the day and trying to survive knowing he was the last. He realized he's their boogyman, their Dracula. I dunno I guess it was just an interesting perspective.

<div>I think I probably will. I just recently finished GOT so I'm looking for something serious to watch. I mean, I love comedies and shows like Family Guy and King of the Hill - but sometimes you need something serious too. </div>
