Tropic Thunder was a good movie, too.

I'm not a movie fan, DH is a huge movie fan. :( I am really weird and don't like the noise. Movies, espeically in theaters, are just too much for me, and I can't handle them.

I'm a HS theatre teacher, and we have one other theatre teacher, so as you can imagine, we work very closely together---she's a die-hard Star Wars fan---all the way to having Vader decals on her truck---and she's managed to overlook it., so you can too. I believe in you! :)

I used to be a HUGE movie fan...but I worked at Blockbuster then and it was so easy to be a movie fan.

Now I'm too cheap to go to the movies, and since Blockbuster is basically a thing of the past, the only way to rent movies is via RedBox, but I NEVER remember to turn them in the next day.

I have Netflix mailers, but I lost the last one I got and I've yet to find it, so I don't get new movies through that either, so it's just what's on the instant.

I suck at movies these days.

DH and I went to Chatta Con for Valentines Day.

It was a pure accident, we went to Chattanooga for the Aquarium and other stuff, and just happened on Chatta Con and decided to go. We got to witness a Star Wars Wedding, the costume contest, and spent the day going to workshops.

That was weird. Some of the video game characters I knew, but most of the people I didn't know. And, one little girl who was about 14? 15? and dressed as a Japanese Anime character had her butt cheeks hanging out of her skirt in her cotton granny panties. We laughed so hard we cried over her. There were some amazing costumes there. The best one was the Pirates of the Caribean guy - he could have been a stunt double for Johnny Depp. He was hot. Really hot.

WHATEVER DO YOU MEAN POKE? DO TELL!!!!

Just kidding. I know you're the person in the back of the movie theatre with your video camera. I wish you'd stop sending me your bootleg DVDs.

    SWITCH TO BLURAY ALREADY.

    That is super-sad about Usher's step-son. A head injury, I'm assuming?

I also have not seen Star Wars in its entirety.

The peeps in our dining room were neighbors, we think. They didn't introduce themselves, just left. I think they were kind of embarrassed. If I got discovered in someone's house, I'd at least introduce myself and be neighborly.

H lied about it being nice out by the way. It's still damn humid. Ick.

Jess, I am entirely too cheap and lazy to be the one providing those. PLUS - they're usually crappy quality and not worthy of my time and hard drive space. *hair-flip*

    BOOTLEG DVDs? <GASP!>

My H cannot hunt anymore but one of my bro's does and he shares. Venison (and most game, actually) is OK if you cook it certain ways. Brother makes AMAZING duck breast appetizers.

    J&K YGPM again.

My middle daughter just got home from a week at the lake. She is very pink. Sigh. She's aloe-ing up as we speak because she refuses to do the vinegar deal.

Of the movies series(es?) listed earlier, I would like to reinforce seeing the Godfather. It's considered to be on the list of best movies of all time. I agree that it was good to watch at least once (NOT on TV! It takes like four hours on TV) but I wouldn't consider it in my list of need to rewatch movies. Watch it with captions though, I know I couldn't keep up. I just finished reading the book which was also pretty awesome.

A hairless cat, as in a Sphinx cat?

I love the episode of Friends when Rachel gets the Sphinx cat.

Monica: Rachel, why is your cat in one of my bowls?
    Rachel: It's not, I'm defrosting a chicken.

Since those are my favorite cookie and one of my bigger cravings during this pregnancy, H actually is nice enough to either ask before eating some, or if he finishes them, he gets me a new package. :)
