Yep, I remember this.  And for some reason I think it had a pencil sketch at the end of the story.  It was a picture of the girls horrified face as the spiders came out of her cheek.  God, I'm retraumatized just thinking of it.

They are like a yellow/brown/orange and eventually get quite big, they also string themselves through branches and trees so I have to be constantly aware of my surroundings so I dont walk into them. I usually have to walk through the yard flailing my arms around infront of me to be careful. I look stupid but its not a risk Im willing to take cause there have been times I havnt, then bent down in the garden and ended up inches away from one hanging out in a web between plants.

And who exactly are we offending when we swear at each other anyway? NO ONE. When people get obscenely vulgar in an attacking way, it gets taken care of. Not sure why this is even necessary.

And if "asshole" and "idiot" are considered vulgar and obscene enough to violate TOS, then I give up. Because those words are on primetime television all the damn time.

When Lili started all her intro threads, I asked her why we couldn't cuss and if she would work on getting that fixed. She said no, since they got lots of complaints about the foul language.

I can imagine it has a lot to do with the advertisers they get money from.  If TK and/or the advertisers think the swearing reflects badly on this site, that's their call. They own the site, not us.  Do I think it's lame we can't swear? Of course.  But in their eyes it's not our call (which it kidn of is because without the people who regularly use this site, the advertisers wouldn't be advertising to anyone).

I find it very hard to believe that there are many companies that won't advertise on a website that has a forum that contains swears.  Especially when those people swearing are not employees and therefore aren't reflecting the views of the administration.
