So, the workers just left.  The leak in the office might be mostly fixed.  I sure hope so.

Um, he wasn't after the whole kicking out thing for about a year, but since his grandfather passed away he feels like she's alone and needs help around the house. So now he goes over there when she calls him, I don't like it but I respect him and his big heart is one of the things I love about him. I wouldn't say they are on good terms though, and he always defends me when she starts in on me.

Just one bookcase, froggie.  Luckily it was an old particleboard one I've had since childhood, so it's not a big loss.  My books themselves weren't hurt! And my desk is metal and apparently rustproof!

No puppy for a week and a half?  When April stays at my mom's, I call every other day and make sure she's still alive.   We might have to give her up for a few months this summer, and I'm freaking out already.
