Omg its making me so anxious. I really only care because I know he was about to deposit this cash and I don't think he knows the cash rule for ATMs. I don't want it to tie up our account with a hold for potential fraud. Fuckaduck.

Hello ladies!

After a REALLY long and tiring day, I'm here, and I'm currently super-frustrated.

I pulled out one of those Bertolli Skillet Meals thinking, "Yay, it'll only take 10 minute to make dinner!!!1!!11!!!"

I read and followed the directions exactly as written, and the food burned--like, turned black 3 minutes before it was done, even though it was on "medium-high heat" as directed. It was actually more oin the medium side than high so that I could, you know, be on the safe side.

I sent DH for takeout.

EFF YOU, BERTOLLI.

Special, our bank does not allow you to deposit cash into the ATM. If you do, it is untrackable and so they think it is essentially depositing nothing into the ATM and pretending it is money. So they think its fraud and it takes like 3 weeks to release the hold. I worked at the bank I still have our acct at, so I know this for a fact because people did it all the time.

Ugh, that requires effort and stuff, something that I am not willing to put forth since the last time I put effort toward Bertolli resulted in sending my husband out for takeout. ;)

<div>That sounds awful. Our CU has a scanner thingie on its ATMs. You aren't allowed to use envelopes. You can put 50 bills in at a time, and it supposedly scans the serial numbers and such. When you put in a check, it prints a copy of it on your receipt.</div><div>

I used to put cash in the ATM, but now so many of them don't even give you envelopes anymore and just sticking raw cash in there without it going in an envelope that the ATM prints the transaction information on scares the bajeezus out of me so I go into the bank if I have a cash deposit.  I am usually taking cash out though, not the other way around.

That sounds like an awesome ATM! It is a rather large bank so I think that is why they have the policy unlike a CU which can do more cool stuff like that.

I don't put cash into the ATM either. At my bank, you put it in an envelope and then type in the amount that was in the envelope... I feel like a bank employee could easily take some of the cash out and claim you entered the wrong amount or something. I'll deposit checks in there, but I deposit my cash face to face.

We can deposit checks in an envelope because they can track it and find it. If there is an envelope of cash there is no way to prove who deposited it. I texted him like 33 times so I hope he sees it.
