lol @ the simpsons she also made fun of my mulled apple cider, calling it "Sara's crazy Autumn Juice" (btw- wasn't it you, davey, who gave the suggestion of apple cider? if so- thanks! it was such a hit!)

We'll stand in the corner and point because if she thinks that you make her feel like shoe scum, then on a bad day I could make her cry ;)

Nope, that wasn't me that suggested your wacky juice ;-)  The week after you posted about it I saw GE had packets of cider spice on sale though. She is so immature.  I would probably hold it all inside until I finally exploded and told her just what I think of her...I'm sorry your FIs are caught in the middle during GTGs (and I'm sorry her FI has to deal with the crazy at all).  If she starts on the gold vs. silver thing I'd probably make a snarky comment about not liking yellow gold (even if it's not true, something like "oh the size of the diamond isn't what matters me, it's the symbolism/commitment/design")...if it hurts her feelings maybe she'll be able to understand how other jewelry wearers might feel.

She is nutbars...if your FIs remain friends, you will have to deal with her for the rest of your life.  I was so happy when one of my DH's friends dumped his GF, because I couldn't imagine like 60 years of hanging out with her.  Haha!

Day - please go faster, I am ready to go home already.THIS! Also: Dear: DH: please finish installing the new fireplace so we no longer have a drafty hole in our living room wall and so we can make a nice warm fire. I'm freezing my arse off at home!Cold/sore throat/whatever I caught: Go away! I have been fighting extreme exhaustion since last Thurs, and I'm tired of not feeling well. House: Clean yourself. I simply do not have the time or the energyWork: It's great that you recognize my "emerging leadership role", but I seriously need a breather. I'm only asking for one or two slower days! Oh, and with an emerging leadership role hopefully comes and emerging leadership salary! Hint Hint

hahaha KR.  You hit the nail on the head! There is two different times she mentioned the 70 years bit..."What I'm really saying is that I don't want to be "fake friends" or "surface friends" for the next 70 years.""We're going to be friends for the next 70 odd years, and we should start off on the right foot."= CRAZINESS!!!

  • edited December 2011
Well, I think it was a combination of hormones and that I really wanted some - like was thinking about it all night.  :P  I swear, my DH has been eating/drinking everything in sight lately, so I have to be very very clear on what I want so that it isn't gone the next day!

Conference Trip --- I don't know why I agreed to go to this. I so don't want to. Please don't be as painful or as expensive as I expect you to be House-- clean yourself, I've got too much crap to do Papers, and Research that needs done-- go away. Blah not in the mood to do anything yet, have some much to do

Body...ok, here's the deal, none of this sniffles stuff.  Either get sick, or feel 100%....no in between because I accomplish nothing when I only feel semi-well. House...how about you clean the basement, I really don't feel like doing that. Self...maybe you should finish one project before you start another one, just a thought... you always seem to get us in trouble this way.  And no more "great" ideas!

Dear co-irker: I don't care that you are buying your girlfriend a $15k+ engagement ring. We make the same exact amount of money. Stop acting like you are some kind of baller. You are not. You are lame. There isn't much I hate more than people talking about their money.Dear other co-irker: stop sitting in your cube talking to your friends on the phone all day. Do work. Dear gray hair: why are you appearing already? I am 24. 24!!!! Dear job: stop stressing me out. I hate gray hair. I didn't have it until I started you.

You couldn't pay me to wear rental shoes, so if FIL has dress shoes (or even tux shoes) already, what's the big deal? Are his feet really going to be photographed anyway? It's going to be a long day - he might as well be comfy.

Just came back from lunch- Elisha and Stace- seriously? I 'm so lost with decorating. I have a ton of ideas but I have no idea where to start. I just got a painting and was thinking of decorating a room around the painting- is this possible? Are you serious about helping? I'm lost

Oh I'm very fired up about the shoes. I insist that everyone wear the same shoes.  I've told every groomsmen/fathers this numerous times.  They have had multiple times to back out if they didn't want to do as I asked.   They can all suck it up for one day.  And if not, they can just not come.  ;)

How exactly does a FFIL back out of a wedding? You expect him not to see his son get married because he won't wear the specified shoes? A grown man can certainly dress himself.
