I was told that I was going on a family vacation to PARIS with my parents and sisters. Three days after we arrived, my fianc showed up with his entire family and our friends and dropped on bended knee on the Pont Neuf Bridge in front of Notre Dame Cathedral. That was on July 15th of last year. Three months later, Yahoo posted an article saying that the Pont Neuf is the most romantic place to propose in the world. We will be married on October 20th of this year the 5 year anniversary of the day that we met!

I got engaged in a gazebo on Dec. 23, 2010 near Chicago. We were engaged for about 7 months before we got married on July 30, 2011. I want to win this hoodie though for my sister who got engaged April 21, 2012 & is getting married on Dec. 28 this year!

In my driveway, sometime after midnight, in the pouring rain! He recreated our first date, and that was the spot we had our first kiss! It was perfect and so us.

We got engaged back in my hometown Waco, TX. The catch was he had to ask infront of all of my friends. This was a requirement because he usually cares what people think. It was basically his last chance to back out, which would have been fine with me since I was not in any hurry to get married. He also improvised a great speech, which I really was surprised at! I also wanted a long engagement, so its been since September 2011 when he asked and we aren't getting married until May 2013. I am doing this to save us from the hassles of wedding finances that will occur

I got engaged on September 11th on Nantucket island in MA in my sisters backyard after a family dinner. It was very sweet and I wasn't expecting it, my whole family knew. My fianc was going to do it during Nantuckets Boston Pops concert during the firework show but it was cancelled. We're getting married October 5th, 2013!

I got engaged in the parking lot of a Texas de Brazil in Orlando FL.

We were taking a stay-cation for our Anniversary, and had planned a nice dinner at the spot we had our first date. He was acting so strange at dinner, I thought he was upset. Turns out he was just nervous, because in the parking lot before we got into th car he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. And we both cried!

And I have been engaged for 5 months (just about). Best 5 months of my life so far!
