  • Ooookay. Seriously, if you guys can't handle the words Thurman is using, you should grab a thesaurus and learn something. Or read books that aren't chick lit.

Now. Thurman. Let's have a chat, shall we?  I'm rather familiar with your particular brand of jackassery.  Frankly, you're nothing more than egotistical, overly-inflated windbag who enjoys the use of her 'intelligence' as a weapon.  Sure it's fun sometimes, but to make that your bread and butter?  I think you should start to branch out. What do you say you bring in some actual, controversial opinons? Chastising our behavior is already worn out.

With that said, shall we converse on a different topic? How about abortion. That's always an interesting one around here.

Thurman, if you were half as smart as you seem to think you are, you really wouldn't need to spend days on end trying to prove what a genius you are to complete strangers on the internet.

So I've decided I need to meet J&K. Some how, some way. I'm also determined to make gf pasta.

ETA: LDY we should have a conversation in Latin sometime. I took it too, therefore I am fluent.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: FFF : You have to be a little more careful cooking it than regular pasta, but it's not that bad. If you overcook rice pasta, it tends to be super mushy. Corn pasta is a little harder to turn to mush, but it also is much easier to undercook.

  • It's only 3 on the East coast, isn't it?
  • Meg, I feel like wheat pasta takes nearly twice as long to cook as regular pasta (at least, to get to the same consistency).  It does get there, but it tries my patience (says the girl who only ate angel hair pasta for years because she couldn't be bothered to cook anything for more than 4 minutes).

  • I make rice pasta all of the time.  I always cook it until  a little al dente and by the time I rinse, etc. it's fine.  Corn pasta was awesomesauce until I saw the goo left behind one time.  That did it for me.

Also, Brandi, unless I'm not noticing your sarcasm font I think you completely missed what Eagles was saying.

That's funny! I never said I knew latin! Some people here didn't know "postulate" so I thought I'd cover my bases! Although, I was a national latin scholar in Highschool.
