At first I wasn't going to have any children there solely because of this issue but I dont get to see some of my nieces and nephews alot so I did want them there. Actually I wanted all of them to be there except for this little boy. He is my brother's future stepson. He will bite children, adults, whatever he can get his teeth into. My children's past birthday parties he has bitten at least 3 kids each time. His mother and my brother dont discipline him about this. They act like they dont even see it sometimes till an upset parent approaches them showing them teethmarks in their child's arm. Im fearful that some guests will not even want to show because they know that the little boy will be coming. I dont want it to be a NO Children wedding, but what other choice do I have?

The same brother who is forcing you into his wedding?
How old is the child in question? How old are most of the children that you want to invite?
[QUOTE]Based on your last post you have roughly a year and a half until your wedding, correct? I would maybe re-evaluate a little closer to your date.

This, the child could've grown out of it by the time your wedding date arrives.
Or, thwuck him with a tranquilizer dart. Thwuck. Right in the neck.

FWIW, if you invite all the other kids, but not this little boy (an impression I got from your OP)--your brother's stepson, I guarantee you'll stir up a giant shitstorm. I think it would be unbelievably cruel, and is an excellent way to make your friends and family think you're a cold-hearted monster.

Edit: spelling
I was thinking about waiting a little closer to see if he changes. His attitude has actually gotten worse. He's been like this for a long time now. My son is a yr and some mons older than him but is very smaller than him and is TERRIFIED of him because he has been bitten by him before. The little boy is 2, will be 3 when my wedding happens. My other nieces and nephews are all older and very well behaved. I feel like I would be out of line inviting them and not my brother's future kids. However, they are ignoring the problem (or wishing in their mind it would go away). I actually had to spank him at his own birthday party because he was trying to bite my son again. I felt really bad because I ABSOLUTELY do not discipline other ppl's children. It was just an automatic response to protecting my son. They didnt have an objection to it, however.
He doesn't bite anyone now, though. We probably should have muzzled him back then, though. I just bit back...
... wait, that's NOT the correct solution!? Oh crap.

He should grow out of it, but like Gray said his behavior is his parents responsiblity so if he does bite anyone at the wedding then it is on them.

He is two. It's called "terrible twos" for a reason - and the likelihood is that he'll have outgrown it by the time your wedding rolls around.
Also: I have an issue with people disciplining other people's children. "Protecting your son" would mean removing him from the situation - not using your hand to smack another person's child (and FTR: I have no issues with parents who spank their own children).
[QUOTE]My mother has tried biting him. This child is unreal... He feels NO PAIN!!!!!!!!

When I had the birthday parties and the kids there were getting bit, I just felt terrible bringing their kids into that type of environment. At all my kids b-day parties the same ppl always show. Till now, we have NEVER had this problem of any child getting hurt. I feel responsible for whatever happens. And he has bitten a parent on the behind. The parent tried to laugh it off, but I noticed she couldnt sit down for the rest of the evening.
If she really does bites the kid, she's a feckin' moron, btw.
FTR, my suggestion of biting him before the ceremony was a joke. I don't want OP to try that either.

[QUOTE]I'm surprised they didn't mind you spanking him. I would NEVER touch another persons' child. Ever. FTR, my suggestion of biting him before the ceremony was a joke. I don't want OP to try that either.

I have worked a lot with children and a lot of the parents used to ask me to spank their children, I never did because I just wasn't comfortable doing it. So it doesn't really suprise me, better Aunt Lindsey be the bad guy then mom or dad.
Wedding stuff.
